Not sure have you start watching this. My take is that the SML was misunderstood and his relationship with FL was more like kinship. ML and FL’s bond is strong and they don’t get distracted at all. Hope you enjoy this.

Ep 23, misunderstanding revealed. ML starts to notice FL without filter and he is also noticing his heart flutters. So likely another ep. he May start chasing her.
My thoughts are that the reveal was well written, TQ set a trap and he figured out on his own that SCC has a filter item. And confession by SCC was direct and straightforward, need not much explanation just pure apology. However his forgiveness was too quick and unrealistic. Even the most logical person, after all the emotional traumas, he may be able to forgive, but to immediately accept SCC of her deeds was too quick for me. GuYu highlighted a good point on looking at it from another perspective is very advice. But with the emotional trauma that TQ had gone through and almost at the edge of breaking down. It’s unrealistic for him to have such a quick reconcilation. The transition to love was too abrupt. Almost making his mood bipolar. But I am glad it’s finally reveal. TQ don’t have to suffer anymore.
Our sly HSY, making a surprise gatecrash while SXF is having supper with parents, claiming their relationships🤣. Smooth move…I still can’t imagine this guy has never dated or he must have watch a lot of k drama.
IMO, we want to stop feeling pity for ML, we want FL to tell him the truth. This reminds me of ‘Go East’, building happiness on ML’s misery, it has to stop somewhere. And ML is just going to easily forgive her over her lies just because he feels love…IMO that will be lazy writing. Hahaha…I am vindictive here for ML’s emotional trauma, it’s not okay to just forgive so easily after all these pain, even it’s unintentional.
IMO I don't think so. She was hurting badly from that one relationship and I don't think she wants to walk down…
That’s what I was wondering about her character design here. If she didn’t meet HSY and learn to self love and self care, will she make the same mistakes to go back? But here she heals through her perfect Dr He and his TCM treatment.;)
Another great therapist kind of advice from He SuYe to Shen Xifan, “if one day you feel miserable in this relationship, feel free to break up…as being together is about bringing joy and love to each other…similarly if some day I feel you do that to me, I will also let go.” This man is so aware, already preparing his partner that if their love changes to be miserable, let’s part. That is a reminder that no one should hold on to toxic relationship even if it’s many years of being together. Although I do wonder if SXF didn’t meet HSY, will she give her Ex a chance and will her Ex ever learn and change?
I hope after all the positive comments for ZLH as we so seldom see him (or I haven't) in modern contemporary roles…
He seems to do a lot more historical and XianXia drama. But to me his overall look here is the best modern look. The styling and the camera works here just make him super handsome and charming😍.

JOL is one of my favourite too! Great comedy moments, yet there were some really intense serious moments and love the plot😍.
I see, TH doesn’t do well with a proper closure for emotional pain. Let’s see how this works out.
