So it’s a nice complete wrapped up. Our Emperor has been always the mastermind. Wu Xian Er is so deluded, maybe she spends too much time with the Emperor to have such strong craving for power. Both ShaoCheng and Wu An Kang made the right choices. Sadly, I understand the recent trend on writing story that focus on female centric strengths and not needing man in their lives. But I do wish ShaoCheng and PingAn could be together. He looks at her so longingly at the end. But maybe if they can’t be together, PingAn and AnKang can get together instead. But I understand, no romance needed, however it would be nice if she has a companion after what she had gone through.

I feel that this show wants to emphasis on female centric strengths. The recent trend and focus of story theme, hence it didn’t want to show women needs to depend on man or need them to survive.😓

Yeah, just caught the last ep quickly. This is indeed a no romance drama. He call her name in a longing way but he also know he has to respect her choice. Sigh.
ShaoCheng and PingAn is working together, they really have strong chemistry even they never declare their relationship, it’s so obvious that they think alike and would support each other when in need. Two more ep to end.

Yup, there is no real “bad” guys when it come to poltucal views, just which side are you standing on. It’s nice that this show uses chessboard as a form of narrating the characters, so who will win the game in the end, the Li family or the Wu family.

For your info. both Deng Wei and Julia Xiang are not popular traffic stars, they are upcoming actors and actress given a chance to show that they can act and shine in this drama.
If one do look carefully, Su Miao is not really much prettier than Su Cheng Cheng, it’s just make up and confident which SCC portray when she is SM. At time, I really feel like hitting Tang Qi’s character on the head, he is just so judge-mental towards SCC.
Interesting premise, this story is indirectly poking fun at our current overuse of social media for interaction. How many people interacted online using fake picture or beautified personality and hide behind that when facing the real world. FL is just being her real self and yet she is being judged by her looks and appearance.
