Yup, this was a hard drama to film for the actors and definitely a hard drama for viewers to watch too😅

Omg!!! I am trying to mentally prepare for that scene between XY and CX, but I know it will be very tough. Both of them said in their interviews that both of them were so emotionally exhausted after that scene and required a long time to recover😱😱.

The trailer looks interesting, story is by a Japanese author. Will definitely check this one out.

Totally understand why you need the hug from him, I think as a lady, we all do😍. He worked out hard for the role😍.
Initially I was sceptical of Wang Xing Yue and Wu Jin Yan’s CP, but they turn out quite well. In comparison Story of Kunning which is also a revenge and second chance kind of story line, I preferred ‘the double’ plot and story and its direction. The double is filming in a more poetic stand, like a stage show, scene by scene, can be poetic and love the witty. Since First love, I have been following Wang Xing Yue’s drama, so far his acting hasn’t disappoint me;)💯 agreed on your take for Shen Yu Rong, and other great young actor that has good potential. This role is hard to portray however the actor Liang YongQi done a great job. He is a sad character and made the wrong choice, that scene where he jump off, is most sad to me too.

Totally agreed with you. He is a victim of the situation too. I have seen him in Warm on a Cold Night but not the other drama. However, yes, he has potential to be lead soon;)
Yup, I read the spoiler and I am not surprise. That guy went crazy after his love died.

Yes! I recognized him, the water deity, good looking chap. He definitely has a weak scholar look and a challenging role to be grey character in TPR. Because of his face, I can’t help feeling pity for him, although I knew he is a grey character. Actually based on some novelist that said he was very sad in first arc, and hence he became revengeful. It was also not him that poisoned LR.
Yes, LR is a self centred and I felt it is a character inspired by Empress Wu Zhe Tian type of personality, but a very young version being a Princess. Hwr character is not hard to understand, she was brought to believe in power and not love. But she has a good vision on wanting equality, hence PWX is willing to support her and worked so hard to teach her to love. Her ambiguity towards love is because she fear loss. You can said she is selfish hence she wants to hold on to both PWX and SRQ at this moment.😅 But I guessed that’s how this growth arc is her journey. Folks at TPR is just getting impatient with her. So many ep to go, of course it will drag😅.

Why did they put a display of martial arts by SRQ? He just seems like a weak Scholar who can’t fight, that sword handling was not convincing at all. But I do believe SRH can fight, more convincing moves.😅

I see what you mean about PWX, I believe so. We haven’t got to the part about SRQ yet, but PWX has been warning Princess about how SRQ can abandoned what he believes in protection of his noble lineage and family, however I feel the Princess has yet been convinced by PWX about SRQ.

I didn’t know yet as I didn’t read the novel. However based on the drama script so far, it seems to present that SRQ is deeply in love with Princess.
So it will be revealed soon. Thanks for the heads up;)
