oh my…the angst starting…Dong Bao😭

‘Meet yourself’ is a great melodrama with themes of family relationship, friendships and mature couple relationship too. It’s a healing drama with serene landscape and the emotional scenes are also quite well done. It’s definitely slower pace but because it’s a healing drama, I like the pace. ML, LiXian is a city boy with a fun loving character, not aloof as this drama, who became a cowboy in the ranch with a great aspiration to promote the town. He has very good chemistry with crystal Liu too. The only similarity is FL in that drama, change her course in life after an incident and she met ML after being in that town, her life aspiration took a turn. A drama of warmth and laughter. Enjoy! One of my favourite modern drama for 2023.

I don’t know whether Song Zhou Wu (who rescued FL previously really like her or it’s just that he took sympathy in her and rescued her. It feels more one sided from FL’s perspective. As when he met her again, there wasn’t any sign that he likes her and seems eager to kill her when needed). But now with Song Zhou Wen spending more time with FL, he seems to be falling for her or want to even consider converting her.

I agreed…they are so real, as I actually knew couple like that. But what I knew in real life, they take longer time to gain insight, this couple has to speed up because of the limited ep😅.

These are two adults, both have their own issues but happy on their own till they cross paths. Of course they will do stupid things and insecure behaviour to hurt each other initially…but the precious part about their relationship is that they learn to overcome it and heal together and believe they can be happy together.

FL has her own trauma and growth. She is fortunate to meet CMD, who is a aloof character but also understands her and mature. If he is not designed as such, I am sure we will another traumatize victim of love.

This is a beautiful verse.

I was angry at her behaviour and how she toyed with CMD. But it will be resolved in ep 16. Quite well written resolution, shows CMD is also very mature in handling this.

Love the second CP, their exchanges is so adorable.

Mom and daughter will have a conversation in ep 16, that short chat shows her concern and FL also understands. It will be resolved.

Siying is very beautiful here. I must say she is also a great actress.
