Yup, no memory loss, still not sure of company intention to target at CY. However the company boss said he is trying to experiment and design a game that can challenge human mind and may the ‘smartest and fittest’ survive, so the logic is to expand human’s mind and its horizons through game. In the latest ep it ends with them believing that they have negotiated with the company to remove their chips, however the twist at the end is the company put them back into the game again. Hence I mentioned that they are too trusting and naive. So far GX seems rather geninue, didn’t feel he has anything to hide and was honest to CY, except he never tell CY that he is communicating with this guy online. The other guy they rescued, is the latest addition room-mate’s(the influencer) brother.

The latest ep., GX was too shy to tell CY because he thought she has forgotten about him. He used a different name when young. Then an incident involving her finding the stamp, and later she told him she does remember him. It’s a nice way of reunion, I like the pacing and writing, not draggy. I am guessing the secret guy that have been helping GX is CY’s father in hiding, as CY’s father used to be a senior engineer for the project but went missing.

Hahahha…this person is so childish and ridiculous. I guess it’s so call their free will and free expression, yet needing to run away. 🤣

This is like a daily “chicken soup” to me😅 Love the stories and struggles faced, and how they support each other. ML is sensitive to FL’s emotion, he travelled all the way to see her and his quiet gesture of just accompanying FL through her emotional process is so sweet! And that’s what she needed. A good husband material.

Ep 15/16, so the two bosses are out. The kids so easily believe that the organisation will remove the chips, a bit naive. I like how Yang Ba Wan finally know who is Dou Dou and Chun Yu finally recognise Gao Xuan.

My interpretation is Prof Gao pin all high hopes on his eldest daughter (FL’s mom) who is also talented. And his anger is a reflection of his disappointment that his ‘mini me’ would choose love and not choose to follow his legacy. So it’s more than pride, it’s also his identity and what he believes in. This happens when parents can’t let go and just let children decide their happiness even it’s not the best or could be wrong. Major control issue.

Agreed, quite hard to find good story and well design character. May be we are in the wrong page and wrong drama. I will still finish it as don’t like to drop a drama since it’s almost done, but will likely just skip through most dumb scene.

Seeing lots of people commenting about the third party troupe. I am not surprised, it is typical of Rom-Com to pull a third party crisis troupe on the CP at the last few ep and then close it with a wham bam HE. However I am more disappointed if the character design of this third party lady. She is suppose to be an opposite of ML, strong decisive and driven in career, to see. she wasted her talent just to set up and compete with FL. WHY??!!! Cant writer wrote a smarter plot and not make her such a love brain? I know I am going to skip a lot for the last 6 ep. Sigh.

It’s a very typical plot nowadays to force a crisis for the relationship and make the viewers feel bad for them, then end with a rush HE. I believe 7 ep is possible to do all that, but agreed that it’s a drag to see such writing. I am keeping an open mind on finishing this.

Saw that. Wonder will the drama be different. That feels like a sad ending for the CP.

Totally with you on this. That happened to most of us after TTEOTM. We have such strong aftermath that we do a group re-watch quite quickly. Great that you are already on your third re-watch. Some of us said to do our third re-watch coming April 24, to celebrate how we began the journey on April 23. Yup, still got my years mix up, not used to 2024 yet. lol!
Yeah, after TTEOTM, quite hard to pick up another Wu Xia or XianXia so quickly, can’t compare after when we watched the best for 2023. Enjoy;)! Will join in soon again.

Ep 14, their relationship just got better and their first breakup. But it’s good milestone to discover each others’ important. Missing each other, one drown in sorrow with alcohol. Hopefully this won’t drag too long.

Ep 13, really likes the honesty developing between ML and FL. And wow on ML’s experience in his work, he thinks on behalf of others’ needs. How many nowadays, do we work with a heart and/or purely for profit.
