Whahaha…yeah I did. Ep 26 is filler, to me not much happen there.😅

This is a slow burn romance, there is tension throughout, between the CPs, but they official got together at ep 26. I love their romance, ML is very devoted to FL.

Ep 24
So Boss Nian has turned good because he wants to save his daughter and Uncle Lin has always been helping CY to pass the stage in the background. It explained how CY’s father able to use Uncle Lin’s body. The explanation is not complicated, so far the dots are connecting.

Ep 25, So we understands Boss Yan’s intention now but his reason to punish the world???!!! He is out of his mind. Yang Ba Wan is becoming courageous. Actually they only need CY and GX to be back in the game, don’t really need the rest. They are going in to save Uncle Lin and the rest who were all trapped in the “prison”, where they are subjected to constant nightmares, created by Boss Yan.
Why are All the three fathers seem to have daughters’ issues;)

Ep 27, lots of fights and fake reality, what a twist!

Ep 28/29 GX’s sacrifice and his consciousness was stuck in the game. The two fathers help CY to enter the game and find GX, why does this part feels like Nolan’s ‘Inception’. Our main CP finally kisses!!!

Ep30 GX returns but lost his game memories. The gang helps him regain his memories and happy ending. Then there was a last 3 mins ending which was unnecessary, what was that about, hinting a sequel?

Done watching, last 7 ep for 7 hrs. Acceptable ending, nicely wrapped up. Was there even 19th floor of games?

Sorry my typo, the title is as you mentioned ‘Small Town Stories’, it’s very good IMO. No big idol castings but the stories were well told. And if you like slice of life storyline, I am sure you will enjoy it too! ;)

Hmmm…there are some small dramas that’s not popular but got good scripts and not so good looking casts, recent completed one ‘Small Country stories’. Hope there will be more of such good drama.

Yes, agreed that Yan guy needs CY’s father to further develop the game, so unlikely he is kill off. That’s very possible, another disguise. Yup the AI theme is definitely strong in play here. Eager to know whats next.

End of ep 23, GX is going to explain to CY on why he hide and what he knew through Uncle Lin. So we will get to understand more on ep24, today and likely they will reconcile.

Hi Cynthia, Yes! The ending was fantastic. I read your review, it’s good, factual and represented the gist of this drama. I haven’t get to writing the reviews as there were so many areas I want to cover but feel that I won’t be able to give justice in my writing. lol! The second and third CPs chemistry came as a surprise to me, didn’t expect that, it was well written script and the casts all done so well here.
I have seen Karlina’s other show, always like her sassy character. It’s my first drama with Gao ZhiTing, but from now, will definitely check out his other dramas. Ok, thanks for the recommendation on ‘the Old dreams’, will check that out. Cya in future comments.;)

It’s over. 😓 I am going to miss this drama a lot. Nice warm ending, it’s such a feel good drama and the stories are all well-written and realistic. The last two ep had me teary and then filled with joy and sweetness. Kudos! to the team! Hopefully this drama will have good sub. soon and more international audience can see this.

So the final boss is actually Boss Yan all along, he was the one that got ambitious about developing the game to the next level. He disguised as CY’s father in the game to make their relationship worsen. So my guess was right that Uncle Lin is actually CY’s father but trapped in the body, yet to be explained how he got trapped. A common C drama troupe is to use the lack of communication or refused to communicate their misunderstanding. If Uncle Lin talks to CY/GX earlier, maybe somethings can be avoided and they won’t be manipulated. The frustration of this ep was we feel if the leads have spoken to each other earlier, many things can be avoided. But that’s how the plot is. And now we have Uncle Lin also in coma? or dead? I am back to wondering so what’s Boss Yan’s intention again?
