Well reviewed. I resonate with what you said. I am a fan of the manga and anime, felt injustice on how this drama left out so many important back story, so hence the characters have no depth. I am not sure I will continue if they make a second season.

I don’t even know it’s maybe consider an OE depends on how one wants to interpreter it. Realistically based on the injury, they should have died but based on their past survive rate, they could have survive. Just felt empty with the ending after being put through so much. That’s just me ranting and trying to reconcile what just happened.

It’s really hard to believe that ML being stabbed multiple times to survive and FL could survive from that kind of bombing.

Well said! What you said was exactly how I felt too! The last 6 ep was just massacre for the sake and then the ending…was that suppose to be an OE or HE, or some sort of closure? I am confused by the twists of events that was thrown in and quite disappointed at how it wrapped up. A pity indeed!

I feel bad for the daughter, she is really nice and innocent, always helping DanYang and HongMei. The bickering chemistry between DY and HM is also quite comical.

Ep 11, so Dr Bai is really the retired Ghost Owl!!! Mr Li, the injured foot guy (forgot his name) are all part of the old Pang Shi mission.

She is very senior and have lots of costumers, JXY is a junior and new hence her situation has been covered up, not uncommon for a salon of such.

He is in an investment company. Hence he invest in different business, but no details reveal yet. He is so obsessed with his best friend disappearance, hence the police captain in the town is already familiar with him, but I don’t think he is in an investigation unit. He has been carrying out the investigation on his own but he does seems to know a lot of people related to IT computer stuff.

The knife that the murderer used to kill A’ Shui was used for oil painting. I find that Secretary Lu Cheng is suspicious and Director Ge’s eagerness to ship Bai Hui and Dan Yang also quite suspicious too, I wonder about her intention. The suspense is building up, so far so good.

If you read the comic, it may be easier to understand some context and back story. The drama cut out a lot of details.

It’s one my favourite manga comic when I was young. So good that after One Piece success, Netflix decided to pick this up and with all Japanese casting. I binged watch it, love the first season. They cut short the story, but I guessed that’s usually the case for comic adaptation to screen. If first season is successful, hopefully they will carry on to make the whole story.

I second all your picks, we think alike🥰. Except for Day 16, favourite scenes, I like all the humor exchange between TTJ and YXW. Thought the dance scene on the boat was quite nice, their glances at each other were so 😍😍😍.

In brief, after she stormed out, she walked by a river and decided to jump in, thinking it may help her to go back to her time space. QL found her, pull her out and gave her his coat as it’s cold winter, he soften and take pity of her. Then that’s where the next scene back to his house where they sat to discuss an agreement contract on working together.
