Ep 10., so the other rangers found out her identity and the ep ends half way. What a way to edit. The Chu Yue Princess feels like another strong and rebellious character.

Hahahah…I agreed on Bitchang’s no acting, hence I am confused by her character. I preferred her in Mysterious Case LotusBook. Yeah this is an original script, so felt the elements in the story were just borrowed from various historical drama in the past. They seems to be trying to do a lot but pretty much touch and go plotline. Seems to be making both ML and FL like some sort of superhero or the team is like a Chinese-Power Ranger🤣. I am still trying to figure out where it’s going, so will give it more ep to decide whether I will drop it. I do like the FL, ML and comedic Yu ShiShan. You dropping it?

Hi Evie, how are you. Went away to another page, finished two drama SOKN and WOL. Tried ‘My Demon’, I like the casts, after first ep., as the airing break is too long, kind of lose the momentum. Will properly wait for it to completely aired then pick up again. I just started ‘Journey to You’, watched it because of the FL and this is Liu YuNing first ML’s role. So far to me, it’s passable. The BGM at times too loud and pacing of fight scenes were rather inconsistent, a bit like watching Avenges’ fight, excessive use of slow-mo. Bitchang is finally an empress role there, 😅. She is still a grey character. I am waiting for ‘Love Me, Love My Voice’, it’s coming out today. Wish you and your babies bunnies well❤️.

Hahaha…you are right. Didn’t realise till you point it out. Seems like most young princesses have similar journey of growth and fall in love with assassin.🤣

Some people are just superficial and only like handsome man for leads. I am glad from a singer to actor, LYN is actually able to act well. And so far the story in first 8 ep has been promising. Yes, kudos to the team.

I am accepting her behaviour because I foresee that the drama has a growth arc for her. So she will starts with being willful, spoilt and depend on others as she was brought up that way. I am interested to see her grow tougher under the guidance of Ren Xing.

He is just adorable in this role, and his chemistry with both ML and FL is great. He became their useful match maker😍.

I feel the same esp for ep 7-8, it seems like the pacing slowed down. Although the plotting of the fight was fun, but a lot of emphasis on certain scenes that became a little repetitive. Too many slow-mo for some fights scenes too.

But I am still enjoying it so far.
