I am glad you enjoyed it so far. Yeah, FL, XY is very tolerant, also because of her past trauma of being abandoned too many times, hence she kind of give up much about life and don’t really care about her own well being till later. Hence first ML is TuShan Jing.

It’s an angsty XianXia story but definitely a good story though.

TJC is XiangLiu(XL) here is kind of 2nd ML and his character in this story does not have a HE with FL, although they do secretly love each other(or in another word, they are soul mate) and XL will save FL many times showing his love devotion to her but because of circumstances, they cannot be together. In S1 here, you will see FL and XL, building a hate to love relationship, still worth to watch if you don’t mind the angst as TJC does a fantastic portrayal in this role.

This is an interesting discussion here. Thought wanted to point out pessimism in its way is also a method of making sense of reality and coping.
