Hmmm…I will likely ffwd the fake Cui Lin’s stunt. I totally can see why he will do something like that but just felt this drama never give him much credit as a character, designed him as a sickly and needy and nothing else to the plot he can contribute.

My personal take is that the next few ep will be crucial for me on whether how good writing will be for the story. So far, the leads have manage to resolve issues in coherent manner, although at times ML can seen to be a little too love brain, but the behaviours do still make sense. So now we will see how the ML and FL handles this betrayal from fake Cui Lin’s betrayal that will put pressure on their relationships.

Back here, counting down. Here’s a thought, we all know that adaptation from novel, often some things have to be changed to make sense. So do we think ZZ in this drama is also reincarnated? I wish he didn’t as it will be so painful for him to face JXN after how much he suffered because of his love for her in first arc. And so at least in second arc, he and JXN can have at least a peaceful and sweet encounter even they don’t end up together. What do you think?

Just finished it. Very much Zhang Yimou’s style - dramatic but a good theme being put into movie. Yes, Yue Fei has always been history tragic hero. It’s an interesting screenplay with twists after twists. And the use of loud reciting and rhymic music in the background, the whole styling got me glued to the screen. I am very impressed by all the veteran and young actors, such well done in their roles. Despite of some inconsistency, I truly enjoyed it.

Don’t think JXN told him anything about that. But XW mau have suspect with all the set up that’s going on for Yan Family, he just predict something bad will happen.
