I kind of miss Runyu…he was so pure and innocent in AOL, even when his attempt to be evil was filled with sadness. I used to remember when I watched AOL, I used to wish the FL would choose Runyu instead😅

This is beautifully done. All the moments between TTJ and YXW, including MY and SJ, from sadness to bittersweet and happy moments. Love it💕! Watching this is like a refresher course on the whole drama😍.

I am reminded of how those emotions were for me when I watched these scenes, and it took me a while to come to terms on YXW’s action and felt so much pain for TTJ. The uniqueness is that I normally see these kind of character as irritating SFL in C drama world, it’s my first time seeing it in a male version.

I like your analysis. It’s what most of us feel about XL too, including myself. He is an unsung hero, loyal to relationships (God father and to XY). He can’t betray any of them so he choose to hide his feelings for XY and only gave XY their best moments together as FFB. The author once said XL is her best love character and most enduring one, hence I always felt the title of this book is about XY’s ‘lost you forever’ which is hinting XL. Yes, TJC also read and presented XL so well that make us feel even harder when he cannot be with XY. I love this story a lot and can’t wait for season 2, although I don’t really want to see XL’s end.
