Hooray!!! Yeah🎉🎉🎉 before year end, we have another XiXi’s drama.

Sometimes it can be quite hard to translate and still capture the meaning. It such a tough job to translate these historical drama or novel.

I wonder if it will be related to an underlying theme. Chinese philosophers really made life tough.;)

Just saw 3 ep., so many riddles that keeps one on the toes. Gladly that it’s a short series so the suspense will be unveil quickly. The poetic stents on the clues really made it confusing. But so far so good.

Sure, will post some small thoughts while I watched. Hope you all got to see it soon. As I am really loving this.

First ep., started out dark, ML discovered FL’s family bad deeds and her father was beheaded along with all her family members kill. She tries to escape but was captured and killed. Then she woke up on her actual wedding day with ML 2 years ago.
She is determined to do good and change her and her family destiny.
Up to ep 5, you will see that she starts to be kind to others and resolved some small interpersonal issues around her. The 2nd ML started to see her good side of her. She rescued the 3rd ML. She kept finding opportunity for ML to be with his actual love interest and no longer choose to be fixated about ML. Zhou Ye’s portrayal of the character is quite spot on. There are flashbacks of FL’s past bad behaviour vs her current changes behaviour is believable, very nicely done.

Really wish you all can see this, it’s great and I am loving it. Btween it’s not a time travelling plot mentioned in above sypnosis, it’s more like a second chance to life for FL, based on the plot so far. One FL with 3MLs, seems familiar. lol. Post some thoughts, spoiler tag below.

The castings are suitable and all the MLs and FLs were quite suitable.

Oh dear, maybe wait for a while to see whether it wil be aired on other platform.

It’s quite light hearted with funny moments. A little like recent C drama ‘Gone with the Wind’ if you had watched that.

Per ep is about 40mins, and each ep has an epilogue scene at the end.

Yu Zheng’s trend of strong FL and she will never end up with main ML. So be prepared.

Oh is it??? That will be sad, I am starting to invest into the characters.

I watched 3 ep. So far I love the story, lots of human drama setting up. ZY looks great here and I like her role. Can’t wait to see more.

But at ep 4., I understand better that FL is not officially trained but ML is, so his skill set is definitely better then FL as a spy.

Ep 4, the ML is really busy, so many handful of things to settle. So far so good.

If FL doesn’t want to be suspected as spy, her calmness and coolness during the interrogation would make her even more suspicious right? Given such circumstances wouldn’t a lady be very afraid or frightened? It’s odd that they both so smart, yet they don’t suspect each other.
