Saw LYX in AOL, was really impressed by his acting, even he was the tragic 2nd ML. Then felt in love with the cute CP, YunLu, in Love is Sweet, hence was so excited when I knew about TTEOTM. Started a few chapters of the novel and was even more captivated by TTJ/DG and LSS/YXW characters. So started to watch this when it aired and was obsessed. Not just to see how the story played out so nicely in n live drama, but also how the effort on the casts, costume, the CGI, fight scenes, just everything about this drama, IMO has been the best XianXia I watched. So still reminiscing so of the old beautiful, bittersweet scenes.

True true…and for Edward Goh’s first attempt of a drama, this story is actually quite complete in its own way. I actually don’t mind the ending, thought it make sense for this story.

Maybe the ending, with GZY(ZLH)’s expression is to mimic the audience’s feeling, ‘expect the unexpected’ on the question on whether will there be a season 2.

We also don’t know who is Dianzhu.

Ep19 sword fight, the cinematography was good but wish the fight scene can be clearer.
- so Lady Wuji is a Mei and Anonymous.
- the guard that hangs around GZS is Elder Hua’s son. I like him and such a tragic ending.
- What a way to pass third trial!Sacrifice? But again it’s not, just a test.
- Ep20 finally the kiss between CP.
- Infinite heat seems like volcanic power!!! LOL. Cute!

Many emo scenes.
- Love the set up, nice twist by GZY.
- Some convenient plot YWS has Feng skills to blend with GZY, so that save him.
- Then is SGQ really pregnant, how? Or that is another lie?
- Not that surprise to see GHY in the end.
- For me, I would prefer it ends at 42 mins mark, where music fades after SGQ is watering flower. The last 5mins is not necessary because added that in makes I. like a typical B grade show in Hollywood, where audience has no assurance of a season 2.

Okay, I am done. Took some time to digest the plot and ending….I don’t dislike it, the whole story was good, interesting set up with a nice plot twist, and I am okay with the ending but felt more thoughts can be put on how it end.
