Some thoughts about the unspoken understanding between XY and XL, which shows that they are true soulmate. Both XY and XL are very similar and alike in many aspects hence they both can understand each other without even saying it. For example, how XL knew XY hates to be alone and want to be strong. With their past trauma, they both needs to believe in hope during desperate time, and XL constantly reminds her not to give up. XY also understands why XL needs everything to be in contract because without it, it’s too hard for him to function. XY fully aware that XL cares for her but is very prideful hence often refused to acknowledge how he feels, this is also very similar to XY too. Both of them knew that they are unable to be together as they are from opp. sides and can never have a happy ending as they both are loyal person to their promises they made to their families. So XL has to do the part to keep pushing her away and not letting her feel attached to him. XY somewhat knew and keeps her distance. I don’t think I can endure season two to see the death of XL and the grief of XY.

XL can feel XY’s heart pain because of the lovers’ bug. So after her first devastation in earlier ep., XL didn’t do anything but just feel with her. However after so long, at ep 37, she still feels the heartache when she saw TSJ. So XL sense it again and made her feel more pain. Then TSJ came to aid her, after that she walks away and bump into XL. Which she realised it was him that make her feel the pain and hence their conversation of him reminding her don’t keep making her heart hurts as he feels it.

It seems random, but I felt it’s link to their earlier conversation. She was asking about his hair colour and XL replied he just used herbs to dye it instead of power. Then she laughs, as hinting such an ordinary explanation on why he keeps it black. So then he continues to say, “all villain starts out being normal…” which I felt he was explaining that he as a villain also starts out as normal person too. And then immediately XY said he is not a villian.
No worry, totally understand. I saw some online bts of that scene. Thought the directing and angle can be better filmed esp., on XY’s emotions. Similarly on TSJ’s emotional scene, felt it can be better angled as DW cried a lot more in bts but was somehow edited poorly.
