Ep19, I like how the misunderstanding became an understanding so easily between XiaoYao and XiangLiu. It really shows that deep inside, they do trust each other much and XiaoYao never did lie to XL. But it’s sad to see how XL and XY will never be together.

I agreed. She was better suited for the role in AOL, and I just felt a bit off watching her in IS. I felt it was her role, that she seems to struggle with. What I don’t understand is why LUF can have two seasons and TTEOTM only made one season! That is still something I can’t wrap my head around😓.

I don’t think it’s only YZ who carries the drama, apparently she has a lot of haters lately and I don’t know why. The other part to LUF is that the drama has 4 MLs…hahhaa…and all seems to have its strong fan supporters.

I am watching. It has a good story so far. And the casting and acting were all very well done. YZ shown her range of acting skills here and I am quite impressed by her portrayal of the role. The 3 MLS who appeared now are all very good actors and able to represent their roles. The two MLs, Tan JianCi and Zhang Wan Yi were very good. The fight scenes and CGI is not as massive as TTEOTM, so far TTEOTM still top the fight scene, costume and CGI for me. The make up at LUF is definitely more down to earth and grounded. I do recommend you check it out. But it’s two season and I heard total of 72 ep., not sure we will really get second season.

Ep 15 YangZi’s crying scene is so heart breaking.

IMO, Xiang Liu is a complex character. So if you look at him from a superficial perspectives, one easily get upset and turn off by his initial abusive behaviour towards XY. However one must also understand that XL is a demon and a warrior, he was like that towards XY, because he is always vary of human because of his past experience, and of course he will use XY since she can cure him. However if you observe their exchange, they don’t hate each other and XY even feels so comfortable to confide in XL because she knew he won’t actually harm her. And subsequently, it’s obvious that he is falling for her, and starting to defend and protect her. His love for her is the most unselfish and most selfless, even in his final sacrifice, as ultimately he wants the best for XY and he knew he can’t provide for her. I adore the character as you knew deeper about him. After so much he gone through, he never truly hates the human and just loyally follow his Master. Silly, sad but amicable in lots of way.

It’s not bromance, it’s brotherhood. And romance here is written from a past context. However there are also potential setup for romantic interest for main ML, but it’s not the main plot. And I do wish this drama does not have so much of romance as it’s not really needed for the storyline.
