Love TJC’s dance moves, always so sassy! This is the Hi Saturday ep with Liu YuNing, whole ep is very funny.

XL can feel XY’s heart pain because of the lovers’ bug. So after her first devastation in earlier ep., XL didn’t do anything but just feel with her. However after so long, at ep 37, she still feels the heartache when she saw TSJ. So XL sense it again and made her feel more pain. Then TSJ came to aid her, after that she walks away and bump into XL. Which she realised it was him that make her feel the pain and hence their conversation of him reminding her don’t keep making her heart hurts as he feels it.

Yeah he will turn the table next year in S2.

It seems random, but I felt it’s link to their earlier conversation. She was asking about his hair colour and XL replied he just used herbs to dye it instead of power. Then she laughs, as hinting such an ordinary explanation on why he keeps it black. So then he continues to say, “all villain starts out being normal…” which I felt he was explaining that he as a villain also starts out as normal person too. And then immediately XY said he is not a villian.

Ah, I didn’t read the novel but from ep 31 onwards, there are a little more XY and XL moments which I am more satisfied.

Wow, the chemistry of two great actors❤️! That made a scene work.

No worry, totally understand. I saw some online bts of that scene. Thought the directing and angle can be better filmed esp., on XY’s emotions. Similarly on TSJ’s emotional scene, felt it can be better angled as DW cried a lot more in bts but was somehow edited poorly.

oh no! What happened? Most tortured XY ep!

Felt cheated, 37 years just happened in a brink…!

He is damn self destructive, but probably why we love him so much. TJC done a super job with this role.

Next year!!!! I thought at least we get to see it in Dec 23??? Can someone tell me any news about S2 release date?

CX has a lot of good dialogue, but this is one of his best and he delivered it with strong emotions👏🏻.

Ep 34, after XY and FFB watched the slave fight, what XY said to XL was most touching even he couldn’t help it but wanted to reveal his emotions. XY said was so beautiful, “If it’s me who found you after the slave fight, I will let you just be FFB, carefree, no responsibility and no oath to keep.” And XL has to frighten her off, scene he walked away, his sadness in his eyes, and his back was such a spot on, most touching portrayal by TJC. All emotions written in his subtle facial expression, his walk and his back. So sad!😭😭😭

So agreed! You should see him at ep 34, even sadder😭😭😭 TJC nailed the emotions so well, subtle expression, body gesture and his back when he walked away. Very sad!

So S1 ends with CX being enthroned by King Haoling. I really hope we don’t wait too long for S2.
