guys, please rate how badly the ending is gonna hurt me.
The ending is ‘bittersweet’ in my opinion. Like throughout the whole drama, that’s the common theme about their relationship. It will feel bitter as after going through the journey with them, we wish they have a better ending. However after a while, one can find some sweetness that requires time to process and think through. As both ML and FL have their reconciliation and achieved their goals.
I am at episode 26. My angst: YSW should have witnessed so many people died in this lifetime to save the future…
Miscommunication is a convenient and common trope in dramas. I agreed that YXW’s action set up a chain reaction. And the writer could have make YXW less gullible. However it’s however YXW’s character is set up, she is naive and she does things based on what her heart feels. So XL resembles so much of her elder which she saw killed by DG before she travelled back here, so a part of her feels she wants to save him. XL is aware TTJ won’t kill him but he is prepared to die. So YXW really doesn’t want to see him sacrificed. I wonder if she has talked to TTJ properly and asked him, he may actually grant her wish and release XL, then story will change. lol.

ah…yes. That’s quite a resemblance between BFY and Le Yan. I love Le Yan’s growth and how strong she became later. At this point BFY is still a damsel in distress.

I realised now that I generally prefer drama re-scripted, more humane and relatable. Glad the change and hopefully this drama give us a satisfying ending for both sisters.

Here on ep 13 onwards, it was MY and SJ’s story. I do love their arc although it seems typical. I wanted to comment on how we see LYX and BL’s acting skills. Thanks to both their embodiment of the characters, you can tell the innocent and gullible SJ and the typical warrior god MY. 😍 while watching this, I remember Tia Ray’s ost and posted above, it’s the MV of MY and SJ’s tragic love story and admired MY’s grand plan to show TTJ’s love and sacrifices. This arc sets the notion of change for TTJ and LSS.

You are right. Thatvoart was not explained clearly. It seems the grandfather got the full recording from police. And I wonder how did Qin Tian got half of the recording. And who arranged for the kids to be split for both family? If both brother and sister died in the accident, how come both family never get to meet and didn’t know that there were two kids?
