Just read the ending of the original novel. I must say, the current edited ending for this drama is happy and sweet. At least given the audience is given hope and sureness that both CP will be reunited, not like the ending of the novel. Hence this ending is still great. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I know a lot here still trying to process the ending. But for me, it’s still a Wow what a journey! It’s still the best XianXia for beginning of 2023. Great script, great acting and impressive cinematography. The 5 cute and handsome versions of YQ, lovely and resilience princesses YT and QK, the scheming yet passionate, 3rd prince CF and all the other characters, have left a deep impression in my heart. Although as all said the ending wasn’t as satisfactory and more scene could be added. But I also felt that this ending wouldn’t take away the fun and passion from all the other episodes.
Will remember them and may there be more of such great dramas surfaced again.
Every day anticipating a new ep and now it ended, it will take a while to move on.

Okay, to be honest after the shock of the abrupt ending. I must say this is still a very good drama. Although it’s narrated, an feels like an open ending. But I believe it is a good ending because the flowers will become human. Just don’t know when…maybe another thousand of years…and at the meantime I don’t mind seeing the CP of YQ and CF…lol!
