Love both Wu Lei and Zhou Yu Tong! Both are strong leads in this drama. Last year I watched a high jumper and his coach’s romance, similarly with young ML and older FL. Thought how come similar plot, But somehow, I like Wu Lei’s character here, glad he is not a love brain here, but a struggling, an almost retired athlete finding a second career and passion. Feel so inspired: really enjoying it so far😍😍😍.

Hope so. But it can happen in C drama world. Some series just was dropped and left audience cliff hanging. Fingers cross.

Hahaha…thought so too. She is quite harsh on him. But that also shows Han WuWei’s tolerance and gentleman-ness. He was never upset with FL. FL will become slightly nicer as the series progress.

Enjoy! It’s quite fun and enjoyable to watch. The characters are earnest and likeable. The main plot is simple and straightforward but the cases discussed are quite well thought out. We all wish there is a season 2, however seems like no news so far.

Agreed! Same here. I wasn’t expecting much when started this. But was pleasantly surprised by the drama. The script of the cases investigated and main plot were quite well written. The characters are all quite likeable, the acting are also good. Hopefully there is a season 2.

That’s what I like about FL, her love is one track mind and she will not show additional attention to Lord Kang and Lord Han unnecessarily. Love their friendship.

They do build up their romance at ep 9 onwards, their romance are straightforward. The main focus is not on their romance but the challenge of ML’s background and the determination of FL using her law knowledge to support ML all the way and to help him clarify his family name. Which hopefully will happen in season 2.

I wonder how did Captain Qin manage to hook up with Qin XiaoNan’s mom in the first place, he is still so inexperience around woman🤣

Ep 21, is that for real? A road sign call ‘Bao Bei’ in China?????!!!!

They met at high school, 2008. LC is one year senior, however his cousin is same class as GX. So GX was first introduced to LC and it was love at first sight. The pool table scene was their second meeting, then the birthday meal and finally the hospital scene where LC just directly asked GX whether she likes him and they got together after.

Done with ep 12, it’s a pleasant surprise for me so far. Plot is tight. FL really is witty, hardworking and smart. Love that she has Han and Kang to protect her. The fight scenes are quite cool! And Huang Jun Jie has little dialogue here because of his character, but he is quite charming. Worth the watch. I can’t imagine finishing it and waiting for season 2.

It’s been a while, hopefully it’s settled for him. Such a pity as he is quite an eye candy and also can act.
