Yeah, I mentioned in an earlier comment after I watched the ending, wishing that TLC could be remembered as ‘God’ that saves earth or something like that. I guessed the script writer didn’t have enough ep to write something creative to bring him back.

I know what you mean. However the script writer here has written this as the ending. Hence I mentioned it’s a simplistic way of how this show make its ending. So whether will human continue to do evil, we won’t know as it ended🤷🏻‍♀️. As you, I do wish the story have given a solution for TLC to return but they didn’t.

You are not wrong, in the current timeline, all their bad deeds were not accountable for. However when TLC reset the timeline, in their world, there is only one timeline, so all the bad deeds will not occur as there is no origin of Ye Mo/YQYY,. No origin cause than no consequences. What we don’t know is without YM, will humanity create their own poison and will different individual still choose the path to do evil and do bad deeds, that’s what we don’t know and where this story stops at. They emphasize on this phrase that human are inherently good, so it’s the author simplistic way of explaining if no source of evil, human won’t become evil 🤷🏻‍♀️. TLC’s journey is not undermine because that’s a choice he made for humanity.
It’s okay that we all have differing opinion, I respect yours, I am just wondering whether the need to clarify this point.

I saw you reposted your frustration. I can understand, but I wonder you mistaken on the ending of the story, thought to mention this, when TLC reversed time and reset the event, so means Ye Mo never get to set foot on earth and GMD was never created, hence there are no villains. It’s a cause and effect story. So when there is no cause, hence the ending scene shows that all earth people are happily living their lives.

One of the major issue with this drama is that the story telling wasn’t exactly clear, expect viewers to figure out things. That’s also what we are unsure whether is he and Ye Mo actually can be rebirth to earth after they died. It’s a hint that TLC became fox dragon, but we really are not sure😅.

A Dream within a dream is a different type of trope, that trope explored waking up from fantasy world and reuniting in modern world. This is much more similar to Demon Hunter by Allen Ren, self sacrifice and so others can live.

He didn’t just go back in time to destroy Ye Mo existence, he removed his own existence, so earth will not be discover by the celestial realm people, hence earth people ca be saved from destruction. Ye Mo is like a meteorite that hit earth and his mission from beginning is to combine his realm to his discovered source and absorb powers and survive. So TLC choose earth instead
of his own tribe.

It was explained, in later part of the show and if you watch carefully, when TLC first told LY about the coffin, his mind already splitting.
When LY found the FZ died, and saw TLC took out his heart, he was tried stricken, then he was discovered by GMD and given the first poison pills that corrupt his mind, so the more pills he took, the harder it was for his mind to think straight. It’s not that he doesn’t want to believe TLC, the poison kept corrupting him till the final attempt where TLC show him his memories.

It is filmed in the 90s, but back then when I watch it in my youth, it’s very relatable and fun. Probably had influenced and inspired me to be where I choose to stay now.😜 Enjoy!
