Then flash to the scene where SLH and Fang Pingzai talking. FPZ is delaying SLH using the last pearl that he wants to collect to delay him, but guess SLH didn’t wait and left to save TLC.
Then the scene repeats again.

I love how this director subtly show us those different perspectives of the scene and giving us clue to their characters. DHH’s view has always been tainted with biasness since the beginning. Li De is the rational quiet share observable of the whole process.

Then when you reach ep 40, you will have a ⏳.

I was thinking along that line, whether the panther could be an important pet of the Black Fire and always been used as part of the killing.

I love all the scenes between Gui MuDan and TLC, a lot profound ideas were explored in their conversation and Jeremy emotes so well with his eyes.
TLC and the dragon lady, that was very emotional scene for me, I felt that at that moment TLC was even more certain of his choice to make.

Hmmm…I was wondering why did the scriptwriter dropped this plot points but didn’t follow through. As what you said, does seem to hint that Xue Xuanzi is aware and seems to know more than he is telling. And the ending scene does easily confused viewers. Xue XianZi is like the ‘watcher’ in Mavel multiverse ‘what if’ animation, however he is definitely more involved and can choose on how he wants to help TLC along the process. Mindblown, so we may be exploring an under-developed, multiverse kind of concept. lol!

Love to read your review. Very well discourse on ZJ’s character and his underlying struggles. Hence I can’t really get myself to hate this character although I despise his choices. Your final legal explanation is something c drama must have missed and not done enough research on as to them, all illegal stuff must be reported and prosecuted. lol. But you are definitely right about the art pieces being in public domain and can be duplicated, that is the same with music score too. Like you, I fully enjoyed the artistry of this piece of drama;).
