So why is it so hard for Tang Li Ci to let go of his lost for Fang Zhou? Here are some of my thoughts: TLC can’t let go as he can’t accept that with his all powerful and omnipotent state, he can’t just save a mortal being; TLC can’t accept that the only mortal being that show him unconditioned love and care is gone, so he has no one else left for him; he can’t accept that if there is a way to save FZ, and why can’t he try. He can’t accept that after FZ’s gone, the whole family where he felt belonged to is lost and he believe only FZ can make it right. These are TLC’s attachments and Obession.
He has been learning his lessons through the death of FZ and since he started the journey of rescue, that even he is so powerful, there will things and situation he can’t control; he has yet realise that he has been forming love and alliance through people he met and they are willing to die for him and be his family; he has yet realised that even without FZ, he can do all those things that are right as he has been carrying out FZ’s value and legacy.
If TLC realised all these, he would be ready to let go.
