I think you're getting it confused. The parents are clearly the main characters, the teenagers got more screentime…
Both teenagers and parents are main character.
Every character has equal importance and detailed individual storyline in an ensemble drama and are inter-connected across multiple timeline and place, which this drama exactly did.
You seem to be misunderstanding it. The author of the webtoon is in charge of the writing and he tells his story…
Yeah I guessed that op at most might be a wattpad writer, was giving him/her a benefit of doubt. Had op has enough experience, they would know that ensemble drama exists.
Also, op's take on perfect plot for moving is ironically the exact opposite of what he/she was advocating here -a mainstream garbage.

Don't take it wrong way, just that I am curious to read some of your stories genuinely hoping they would be of high quality. Please share the link!
Btw, while I do think the drama suffers from pacing issue, the integration of children and parents' arc are well done imo. Nothing felt forced/out of place so far. I fact, I would have gotten bored watching more scenes of the kids in school and gym.
Why????!!! Did they destroy the storyline or the character...?
Umm my analogy wasn't about the characters, I meant to say the drama is pretending to be a plot heavy story with serious tone but failing because the writing is lousy.
I have seen my fair share of lousy and wacky drama and the ones I enjoyed made it clear in the beginning that it is going to be lousy/wacky instead of pretending to be a serious one and toying with my expectations. The latter type of drama irritates me.

They destroyed the vibe. It has turned into 'serious blood' from lively young blood lol
You know the problem of drama being plot focused with serious tone - it brings out the flaws in storytelling more. Acting isn't that good either. Overall not a satisfying watch.

Also, it seems that you aren't familiar with ensemble drama. Do yourself a favor and Google that before forcing your opinion.

People rate what they feel like, you don't have to wear your special lens to understand them.

S1 rating is absolutely perfect, please don't go inflating it's rating.
This drama is giving me the impression of a kid pretending to be an adult by wearing adult's clothes.

Please feel free to spoil exactly how it gets better. I am 4 episodes in and feeling like dropping it.
