Yeah, I thought it was nice how he comforted her. It was really sweet. Honestly, I'm kinda relieved that they're dealing with regular relationship stuff right now instead of the tough stuff that's bound to come later.

I don't know, but whenever I watch Cheng Yi and Zhang Yuxi's dramas, it seems like they have the best chemistry. They always click with their co-stars, but with these two, it feels so effortless, as if they're not even acting.

I kinda like how FYS treats Chen Le in their relationship. FYS only acts like that towards Chen Le because that's how their dynamic has always been. FYS definitely values Chen Le, but they kinda have this thing where FYS acts all arrogant and Chen Le just goes along with it. But deep down, they really do care about each other.

I think it was because of guilt. She didn't want to ignore him; she just didn't know how to face him because she thinks it happened because of her. its normal reaction actually. That guy had a grudge against her, FYS got injured trying to protect her, she feels guilty about considering how long it took him to recover and be able to walk again. And now he is going to be hospitalized even though its temporary. I think it was a normal reaction tbh

It's like a common thing with cdrama actresses, you know? Whenever something goes wrong, they always end up blaming the lead actress.

Even though episode 17 was intense with all the blood and torture, I'm glad they made it out okay. It was really nice to see FYS supporting ZJ and not blaming him, but feeling like he could've done more to protect his girlfriend. It means a lot to me that he didn't push her away like he would have in the past. It's just sad to think that they might end up apart again because of his mother.

I expressed my personal opinion, just like you did. However, calling her a bad actor is not constructive criticism. There are better ways to critique someone's acting without being so harsh. It is also unfair to judge her acting based on only a few of her dramas. I don't understand why you took my defense of her so seriously. People constantly criticize her for her age, looks, and acting, but her acting is not as bad as people claim. It is ridiculous to judge her in a comment section where she is not even confirmed as the lead. I was simply suggesting that you watch her recent drama to see how well she can handle emotionally challenging roles. I don't know why you found it inappropriate for me to express my opinion. I have no issue with people expressing their opinions about my favorite actresses. She receives a lot of hate in every drama she's in, so it is unfair to jump on the bandwagon after only watching a few of her dramas. I think zyx would be a good fit because Wen yifen seems a bit cold, like she doesn't show much emotion unless something big happens. That's just what I think a cold personality is like. Plus, it really depends on the director. Personally, I don't think ZYX's acting is blank. She often takes on roles that require a cold expression, considering her cold beauty. I think she can really pull off the role. And she doesn't look "old" to me, she's just in her 30s. 30's aren't old, you know? I mean, we see male Chinese actors in their 30s playing high school characters, so I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about it. She has improved a lot since her "Intense Love" days. I mean, she's currently starring in one of the most successful dramas this year on Youku, so that says something.

When an actor is "bad" like you said, putting them alongside a "powerful" actor really highlights how terrible they are at acting (I am a drama major). Chemistry between actors is a two-way street, and almost all of ZYX's romance dramas have had incredible chemistry (there is a reason she is still cast in romcoms considering she is self-made). Maybe check out her other shows like South Wind Knows. She is absolutely fantastic in it.

I can't believe all the hate comments about Zhang Yuxi here. I understand personal opinions, but it's disgusting to degrade her looks and call her old like some of you do. Do you really think women turn into grandmas with no teeth when they hit 30? Look at actors like YangYang who still play high school roles. Okay, so you hate Zhang Yuxi, but saying she's a bad actress is just blind. Have you seen her recent works like "South Wind Knows"? She's amazing in that. I don't understand why you come here just to hate on an actress. Also, the novel has a glimpse of high school, but it's not a high school romance. They meet after high school, and visually and acting-wise, as someone who read the novel, Zhang Yuxi can portray Wen Yi Fen just as well as the actresses you all love to fancast here.
