I don't get it. Did FXZ bring the professor to the company to kick his brother out? Why all of a sudden? He didn't…
I guess as long as FYS is around, he probably feels like his mom is winning. But he doesn't get that FYS doesn't actually want the company, he just thinks his mom will make him take it, like he was forced into it. I think I heard him say in one of the previews that he wants to completely wipe out the Fu family and get rid of the name Ling Tian, all because of what they did to his mom, so maybe that's his first move.
I know we didn't get many moments between FYS and ZJ because they focused more on developing the plot, but I really liked how they integrated their relationship into the story instead of making it a separate thing. Like when FYS found out his brother was involved in the assault, he immediately turned to ZJ for support. And those scenes with her grandmother were SO GOOD, it felt so genuine and natural
In the last few episodes it felt like he is angry at FYS for surviving the accident. Why is he blaming FYS for…
I feel like FYS's mom should take some blame here. If she hadn't set off FXH's already unstable mom, none of this would've happened. And I think he's aware of that too. He's just probably trying to make the revenge harsh by not being nice to the son of the person he holds responsible for his mother's death.
i kinda skipped some bits...so can anyone tell me about why FXZ has this thing against FU yuanshen??
Resentment and jealousy can make people do some crazy stuff. One part in the show that stands out is when FYS had an accident. His mom and grandpa were there, promising him the best care, while his mom was alone in another room, with him alone, grieving. It seems like he's also envious of all the things FYS has now, so he's slowly tearing them down, like his beloved job and his relationship with FYS, who is the only one in the family who truly loves him (i just hope he doesn't involve ZJ in this). It's like he's intentionally messing up his own future because of this.
Great. Everyone has problems and they hit the bottle.I don't think Ruanruan is wrong about the kind of relationship…
I reckon it was just her rotten luck that FXH changed after they tied the knot. Honestly, I don't think he would've married her if it weren't for his ulterior motives. Sure, he always had a soft spot for her, but I don't think he was ever truly head over heels. And you know what? I think he's to blame for that. She has no clue that he manipulated her fondness for him. She genuinely believed that her persistent pursuit would pay off in the end, and for that i feel so bad for her. the girl just wants to have a simple life with the person she loves but she ended up marrying someone like FXH
Then, you should check on Mysterious Lotus Casebook page, it also has Cheng Yi as ML and its the most peaceful…
I've been wanting to check it out. I usually don't watch shows that focus on make characters because I find female characters more interesting, but the ones I have seen were actually pretty good, so I might give this one a shot.
Oh then you missed out on The Legend of Zhuohua MDL page. It was so positive over there and everyone was so supportive…
I think it's okay to criticize a drama, but some people here take it to the extreme. They always hold female leads to such high standards, while the male lead can just be eye candy. It's refreshing to see that both actors in this show are actually appreciated. It's a shame that finding a page where everyone is appreciated is so rare. ZYX isn't even in my top 3, but I've always thought she does a good job in romantic comedies where she really shines. I think she's great with more mature roles too. I hope she chooses more modern dramas because that's where her talent really stands out.
This MDL page for a cdrama is seriously the most positive one I've been a part of, haha. It's like everyone here is so ready to defend the drama, flaws and all. And the best part? They're not even dragging ZYX to praise other actors like on other MDL pages.
i've only watched ZYX in love and redemption so to see her and CY always acting in romance dramas together is…
I mean, they've worked together like three times already and this is their second time as a CP, so I don't think anyone here finds it weird. Plus, they're actors, so it's just their job.
I think if they had given the second lead couple less screen time, considering how weird their relationship dynamic was, the show would be way more popular. The main leads just have such great chemistry and their interactions are always a blast to watch.
Really wanted to watch this drama but don’t like the female lead’s acting skills. In her past dramas she acted…
She's actually gotten better at acting since Intense Love, I think it's not really about her acting but more about the character she got, 'cause she's always been good at emotional scenes but now she's consistently picking more mature roles.
I have no idea how this drama will have the plot to sustain a 39 ep running time... felt like this would be perfect…
I feel like if they made it a 20-25 episode drama, it would be way too rushed, especially since it's a melodrama and not a romantic comedy. I think they need almost 40 episodes to really capture everything they want to convey.
I watched until ep 15 and just watch cuts now because it's a bit of a snoozefest. The chemistry that people see,…
Yeah, I gotta say, intense love totally didn't give her enough credit as an actress. I mean, it's a cliche romcom and an old one at that, so you'd expect the female lead to always be all cute and baby-voice, you know? But I actually liked her character in intense love (well, except for a few scenes). I feel like she's gotten so much better in her acting since then. This show really showcases her improvement, so I'd definitely recommend it, like 110%.
Question. Episode 3. Did Dr. Zhu ever worked in the rural region of M country before? If so, how come she doesn't…
She's not a zoologist or a drug researcher like FYS, she's a surgeon, so obviously she won't know about the poisonous plants.
Also, I think she got an infection from those leeches. Normally, leech saliva is no big deal if you're used to it, but for someone like ZJ who isn't, it can mess up their blood clotting and spread bacteria through the cuts. So yeah, she got pretty sick because her immune system was weakened from all the climbing and being in a new place.

Actually, both of them really shine in this one, ya know? The chemistry between them is off the charts and you'll see tons of comments praising how well they connect. It's no wonder the natural chemistry between the leads is so popular. I mean, you can't question the chemistry in any ZY drama. She always has great chemistry with her co-stars, it's just that her characters tend to be a bit cutesy, which a lot of people dislike on grown woman.
CY is amazing, no doubt, but ZY deserves some recognition too. Sure, she's had some not-so-great roles in the past, but lately she's been consistently choosing more mature ones.
I watched until ep 5 for now, there are already many changed from the novel. I read the second book a long time…
I haven't read the novel, but I think instead of divorcing her, he would just break up with her. I'm guessing this happens before they even get married. She discovers some connection between her parents' death and his family. I think FYS's father might be involved because he died somewhere else and was brought back dead. So maybe he had something to do with her parents' death, or it's just a misunderstanding on her part. But I believe all of this happens before they get married. I think they will only break up once, and it could be because he couldn't protect her. idk we have to wait and see, huhu
Sorry, I don't feel bad for him at all because if he really did what he did, he's a bad seed. After so many years…
I think it's like the worst thing for him to be so petty in this situation. It's not just about his step family or his brother, it's about all these little kids whose lives could be saved by the plant. Honestly, FYS has made it clear multiple times that he doesn't want the company and has no interest in it, so I don't understand why he's being so petty about the plant. That's the part that really confuses me. I get that he resents his brother because of their messed-up childhood, with him having a loving mother while the other one didn't. And now FYS is in this great relationship while he's stuck in a doomed one that he chose for business reasons. It just feels like he's making things harder for himself. Plus, his grandfather was gonna give him the company anyway as FYS isn't interested in it, so why not give it to someone who actually wants it? And he knew he was gonna get it, so it's not like it's a surprise.
And now he's dragging ZJ into it too, someone who has nothing to do with the rest of the family except FYS. Can't he just let them all live in peace? I get that its melodrama, i have to remind myself that the genre is indeed melodrama and not a fun little romcom every time he or FYS's mother pisses me off
