Yeah, I think they would be apart for a bit. FYS would handle his family stuff, and ZJ would join the Doctors Without Borders program. If they follow the book, FYS will be running around like crazy when ZJ gets into trouble. And then, on the plane emoji, ZJ will come back to him because he gets sick from all the running around he does for her. But who knows, the show might change it up.

I couldn't handle it anymore, so I decided to read the novel. And let me tell you, it's a good thing they didn't stick to the exact story, because the pain is even worse in there. Oh, and I was right about something - FYS eventually ends up hating his mom, their relationship is completely destroyed because she couldn't let him live his own life. ZJ can't move on from FYS either, she's not really starting a new relationship or anything, she's just helping out Dr. Ji because his family is pressuring him into marriage. But they both know ZJ won't fall in love again.

It's like, seriously the saddest love story I've read in a while, even sadder than the show. The show had some cheesy cliches, but this is way more tragic. And there are so many sweet scenes in the show tbh, and oh my god, the angst is just intense.

I am so done with his mother, like she is genuinely so annoying. FXS can go screw himself, you come to a person who is physically and mentally destroyed and speak to him as if he personally made his life miserable when in reality FYS was the only one who truly loved him like a brother. He doesn't get to act sympathetic and tragic by making someone who did nothing but love him miserable. He is just as bad as FYS's mother with his taunting.

My point still stands, ZJ has to stay away from that family until FYS deal with his mother and brother, like I want her to be happy and she is going to lose her grandma soon which means my girl would be all alone, dealing with all these grief at once.

I thought FYS would be the one who's really committed to ZJ no matter what, but turns out it's actually ZJ who's the most devoted. Zhang Yuxi mentioned that ZJ takes love really seriously and she's super protective and possessive when it comes to the people she loves.

I can't blame her, you know? I mean, he dumped her and his insane mom is causing so much pain for her and the people she cares about. I think she's just trying to move on and get into a new relationship to forget about FYS. It's pretty common for people who've been in such a serious relationship to do that.

Yeah, honestly, I totally saw it coming. He regrets his decision pretty fast though. I think FYS will be the one most devastated by the breakup, because he's always been dreaming and planning his life with ZJ. It's like he's only alive because he kept fantasizing about her. But honestly, it was probably necessary for them to figure things out before diving into marriage. I mean, what if his crazy family tried something after they had a kid? It would totally crush them both.

I'm crying just thinking about how FYS dreamt of ZJ calling him, and them having a regular life together with all the usual ups and downs of a normal couple. It was the one thing that helped him get through the coma, and now it's heartbreaking that he's going to lose her all over again.
AND THE FACT ZJ LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL IN HIS DREAM.

So the second wave of angst is here. And OMG, FYS's mother is seriously getting on my nerves. She keeps saying she loves her son but doesn't want him to be happy with the person he's in love with. She's always bringing up ZZZ in every conversation with him, like even ZZZ is tired of it. It's ridiculous because she's been in love with FYS for years, so she understands love better than anyone. It's ridiculous how his mother acts, she's threatening people's lives, using a little girl's death for her own benefit, and not allowing her son to live his life peacefully with the person he loves. It's sickening. I know rich people can be crazy, but seriously, there's no humanity left in her.

I know FYS is the one who instigated the breakup based on the trailers, but I want my girl to stay far away from that family until FYS cuts them off or they actually apologize and beg for her forgiveness. She doesn't deserve what they're putting both of them through. I have a feeling I know where the show is headed from here. There's probably going to be more angst where they both get hurt. Can't they just live in peace? If they don't give me an episode full of domestic fluff and show their life together after getting back together and away from all this toxic stuff, I'm going to hold a grudge against the writer forever.

ZJ is seriously amazing. Her resilience is incredible. She's willing to be with FYS despite all the toxic family drama. She's so loyal and kind. She's the ultimate green flag. At this point, all I want is to see her happy because all she's done in the show is be in love with someone and try to save people. She's definitely my favorite character, with FYS coming in second.

I think it's because FYS found out that his mom will keep hurting ZJ. It might not be a popular opinion, but they really need a break. FYS needs to deal with his toxic family first because ZJ hasn't done anything wrong. But her life was threatened, her job was almost in danger, and her grandmother's life was used as leverage.

ZJ isn't involved with the company or bothering anyone; she just wants to live her life with the people she loves, and the people she loves has been decreasing as she gets older. Now, the person she loves the most is almost dying, and the person she's in love with has a mom who's a pain in the ass and always seems to get hurt while protecting her.

ZJ might be willing to go through anything for FYS, and vice versa, but FYS would do whatever it takes, even if it means putting himself through the pain of losing her, to make sure she's safe.
FYS is all about keeping the peace and getting along with everyone, even within his family. But it's tough to cut ties with your parents, no matter how awful they may be.

It's like so painful to watch, but I guess that's the whole deal with their love, you know? Like, they're willing to do absolutely anything to be together, even if fate and a crazy mother are totally against them.

FYS has been constantly telling his mother to back off, he wanted to marry ZJ and even implied proposing, but she knew it wasn't the right time because of his mom. His mom and grandfather were the only source of parental love he had when he was young, his father was absent for most of his life. Granted, he could've been sterner with his mother, but he wants to live peacefully with his loved ones which includes his mother, He has no idea how much his mom has done to try and ruin things for ZJ, but he slowly figuring it out right now.

His stepbro is getting bashed because he's a pain in the butt. Instead of getting back at FYS's mom, he puts the blame on FYS for his own mom's death, taunts him again and again when FYS has done nothing but forgive him over and over again. At this point, he is doing it for the sake of doing it. He knows FYS doesn't want anything to do with the Company but acts clueless about it.

The drama is staying the way it is and getting good reviews because of the actors and their chemistry. It's been highly anticipated by a lot of people because of the actors. There might be better actors out there, but that doesn't mean these actors aren't good enough for the roles. I really don't think anyone could do a better job playing FYS and ZJ than Cheng Yi and Zhang Yuxi.

Plus, this drama was filmed in 2020 or something, so the novel it's based on is even older, which means the cliches might be outdated, but they're still done well. Plus, it's a melodrama, so it's supposed to be extra dramatic.

Sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh at how ZZZ's mom was all over the place, both encouraging and discouraging her daughter at the same time. Like make up your mind, Woman!!
