I gotta say, they totally nailed the Asian family dynamics lol. I'm glad Man'Er isn't letting anyone push her around and stands up for herself like she should, because seriously, her family can be so audacious sometimes... It's kinda funny and sad, especially since her real parents don't give a damn about her. But now she's finally experiencing what it's like to be loved by a mother who would do anything for her. Man, it's gonna break my heart if she ends up getting separated from her in the game.
It's been hard for me to find Joseph Zeng having any real good chemistry with his FL but he seems to be doing…
Honestly, TXW's personality is super upbeat. I love watching behind-the-scenes footage of her dramas because she always has a fun and cheerful vibe when interacting with her co-stars. That's probably why her dramas always have such great chemistry.
I read the novel a long time ago, so I don't remember a few details, but I still remember how annoying and shameless…
I feel like it's still too soon for us to say if they actually made her character dumber. So far, she's been pretty clever, except when it comes to money, hahaha. It seems like the show is giving equal attention to both of them instead of just one character. Maybe they're just trying to show us who these characters really are before the story moves forward.
This drama is funny, there was many moments i busted out laughing. It's a simple drama without a huge plot, which i need at the end of a stressful day.
Now that I think about it, the ending kinda felt rushed. It was like they wanted to wrap it up super quick or maybe they had more scenes planned but had to cut them out.
The drama was good though. The actors were amazing and their chemistry was so natural. It's rare to find shows where the actors have such genuine chemistry. Sometimes it didn't even feel like they were acting at all. I love that a lot of people here kept watching just for the leads' chemistry. That says a lot. But I can't help feeling like they deserved a better storyline. I still enjoyed the drama, but the last few episodes felt like they were rushing through everything to get to the ending. I really wish they didn't do that, but oh well. I went in expecting the angst like the trailers promised, so I wasn't as disappointed as others here. Yeah, the ending was rushed, but I still loved it.
It's a shame they might never work together again because their chemistry is truly one of a kind. They deserve a happy and fluffy storyline. Was the ending good? Yeah. Did I wish they didn't rush it? Yup.
I loved this series, the actors, the story, and everything about it was well done- I scored it an 8.5. But, On…
They were together for those 5 yrs, i think its implied during the montage where she discusses about the danmin disease, they looked at each other lovingly which implied they were together. I am sure she needed some time for recovery but it's understandable. I highly doubt the drama was supposed to end in the proposal because if i remember correctly in one of the trailers you would hear a little girl going 'ma" when FYS says he wants a daughter. but they decided to cut it out for some reason maybe.
I loved the ending, but i can't help but feel sad for Zhu Jiu, she lost her ability as a surgeon because of the injury. She worked so had for so many years
I get it JSN was a victim too. The old man used her to run his business. But, she tried to do the same thing to…
That's how generational trauma works, we do the same things that are done to us to people we love. We may think we are in the right but at the end of the day, she is a pitiful character. FYS managed to break it, but his mother and brother couldn't (He did break it eventually)
