The scene where YunShen visiting her grandmothers body and Zj walked in, Its unforgiveable that he didnt give…
Yeah, I totally agree. But honestly, I can't really blame FYS too much because he's dealing with a lot too. It's just really heartbreaking to see ZJ lose everyone, especially the two most important people in her life, all within a few weeks. I just wish FYS would stand up to his mom more. It's just so annoying how she's acting all smug about winning over someone her own son loves. It's just cheap.

I am a bit lost. How come FYS was in wheelchair in the beginning of the episode 32 and could walk later just fine.…
He was still recovering from the surgery. He recovered after a while.

so i heard the book isnt that great so before i start watching this can someone spoil the story for me? is it…
The book is pretty good if you're into second chances. The story is kind of complicated, haha. Basically, Fu Yunshen and Zhu Jiu meet in a volunteer program and fall in love. But then FYS gets into an accident and temporarily can't walk, so he cuts off contact with ZJ. ZJ eventually moves on, but then her colleague asks her to look after a patient who turns out to be FYS. At first, FYS is cold towards ZJ, but eventually he gives in and they're happy together for a while.
FYS's brother, Fu XiZhou, is actually illegitimate, but their grandfather doesn't have any prejudice against him. However, FYS's mother has a lot of animosity towards FXZ because she feels like his mother "stole" her husband. FXZ's mother actually dies on the same day as FYS's accident, which causes a big rift between the brothers. FYS's mom is a real pain, she's controlling and hates ZJ because she thinks ZJ is the one who hurts her son (even though most of the time, the consequences of her actions end up hurting FYS instead). FYS's mom even threatens ZJ's life, gambles with her grandmother's life, and puts ZJ's career at risk. FYS ends up getting hurt again while trying to protect ZJ, and he damages his spleen, which means he'll have a lifelong risk. He thinks ZJ deserves better and since he can't protect her, he breaks up with her.
That's the important parts until now but there is a lot happening rn

Yes, he was in a coma, but he is not dying. He just has a lifetime of risk because of the removed spleen.

She loves him, and a loving mother to yunshen for the last >20 years. I dont understand either how come we leave…
He ended it because of his health. But it's also because of his mother. He knows if his mother tried anything again with ZJ, he won't be able to protect her physically.

I can't be completely sure because the timeline in the novel and the show are very different, but in the novel…
think a time jump would be good for the show because FYS needs some time to recover, you know, if they're gonna follow the novel. But, I saw this behind-the-scenes thing where it seems like Dr. Ji wants to take advantage of the breakup and ask her out. Anyways, the book has a happy ending, so I hope they keep it that way in the show.

Can anyone tell me if there is a time leap from the moment they break up to when she goes to country M and ML…
I can't be completely sure because the timeline in the novel and the show are very different, but in the novel yes there is I think a 5- or 7-year time skip after their divorce, idk if they will do the same in the show Tho.

YunShen hates his mom right from the start in book.
AH i meant you were talking according to the show, I always assumed his hatred towards his mom in the novel aroused from her constantly controlling his life like in the show.

FYS actually stands up for himself, contrary to what people think. He's trying to maintain a relationship with his family while also keeping ZJ by his side.
From JSN's perspective, ZJ is the cause of all this chaos. It was because of ZJ that FYS decided to stay in country M longer, it was ZJ who wanted FYS to help the kids and use the medicine (even though it was actually FYS who wanted to help the kids), and it was because of ZJ that ZZZ finally gave up on FYS, creating a rift in her relationship with her son. In JSN's mind, FYS is easily manipulated and she believes ZJ is manipulating him for some reason. That's why she constantly emotionally blackmails him. But in the last episode, when he called her terrible and selfish, she realized that the only way to bring him back to her was to destroy something he loved. And FYS knew this too, but he also knew he couldn't protect ZJ from it. So he made the logical decision to end the relationship that caused all this mess in the first place.

It's important to remember that JSN is essentially pushing her son to resent her with all these actions. Their relationship will never be the same because of what she did.

I just wanted to remind everyone who criticizes FYS that this is an Asian drama with Chinese characters. In Asian culture, there's a strong emphasis on filial piety and respecting parents, which has been valued for a long time. FYS really loves his mom, even though she's a terrible person who's obsessed with her company and willing to sacrifice everything, including her relationship with her son. But in her twisted and toxic way, she does love him. He's her only child and the only love she got from a failed marriage, so she's unhealthily possessive.

Yeah, I get it. But FYS and ZJ, they didn't just reconnect after being apart for years, they actually fell in…
I agree with that. I am sure they cut so much scenes that really showed her dedication to him. But she doesn't move on in the novel, but she tries to.

Their relationship has been filled with sacrifices and protecting each other, so it's not right to downplay it like they've only known each other for a short time. FYS didn't just fall for her because she didn't give up. He fell for her because of her resilience and her willingness to stick with him through it all. I mean, you can't expect her to go crazy searching for FYS, remember the call when ZZZ answered? She might have thought she was just a fling for him and moved on. But then, after he left her in the snow after she was assaulted, she had every right to give up for a moment. She's been dedicated and never gave up because she wanted to. She gave up because she lost hope, which is understandable considering how much time and effort she put into researching and taking care of him, trying everything to help him walk again. It wasn't until ZZZ confirmed that FYS still had feelings that she regained hope. Props to her for showing a momentary weakness. Anyone would feel that way when constantly pushed away.

We will prolly see them have a kid but i don't think a wedding ending goes along with the story, either way they most probably end it with both of them getting back together and their kid, so a slice of married life.

Another reason I think she wants ZZ to his wife is that she knows he doesn't love her. So JSN will always be the…
I think it's also because ZZ is just easier to handle. She gets all the perks of being part of the family while also being the most significant woman in his life. ZJ, on the other hand, is too strong-willed, outspoken, and independent for her taste. Plus, FYS stood up for ZJ against her, so yeah, you're pretty much spot on.

Yeah, I think they would be apart for a bit. FYS would handle his family stuff, and ZJ would join the Doctors…
It's kinda close, but the timeline in the novel is all messed up. Instead of meeting before the accident, they actually meet after. They fall in love, get hitched, and then he divorces her because he thinks he's not strong enough (in the drama, it's more like a normal breakup as we saw). To move on, she tries to force herself into a relationship with Dr. Ji. Dr. Ji hasn't even met FYS when he was with ZJ. She's not really in love with him, she just wants to move on. Oh, and in the novel, there's a timeskip of 7 years before they meet again. its really tragic.

At this rate of crazyness, i think fys’ mom will end in mental health facility soon 😅 fys is right, she is…
Yeah, I get it.
But FYS and ZJ, they didn't just reconnect after being apart for years, they actually fell in love during that time. And it's easy to see why FYS is head over heels for ZJ. She never once doubted or gave up on him when he was in a wheelchair. She's been completely devoted to him. I mean, sure, we can understand JSN feeling neglected by her husband, but that doesn't give her the right to do whatever she's doing. I think she's way too obsessed with the company, which, by the way, isn't even hers to begin with. It belongs to the grandpa.
