i dont have problem with crying. but my concern is - how can they have all of those obvious dangerous things in…
Every prison system is different based on the country. But one thing is universal. They smuggle everything from cell phones to drugs, and some of the guards help because they get a kickback.
Some of you have absolutely no empathy and I'm embarrassed that you felt comfortable enough to come on here and…
I've realised that quite a lot of viewers find tears uncomfortable more than once per character (eg:- comment section in Dali and the Cocky Prince), because they want their main characters to be 'strong' in the patriarchal sense of no tears, become kick ass and work on vengeance. But, that's not reality. Anyone would be in tears if something this awful happened to them, until time passes and they become resigned to their fate.
The irony is that they accept the tears if the character is suffering from a long lost love. LMAO. Such a double standard.
LMAO OH I AGREE, people still be b*tching KSH crying a lot, despite the situation he's in xD
Exactly. I wonder about those who are complaining that he's crying a lot... Does it make them uncomfortable because he's a man, and they simply are too ingrained in the patriarchy to admit that feeling that level of frustration/powerlessness and sadness would bring anyone to tears, regardless of gender?
Anyone else get super annoyed that they drop it whenever people copy their designs? I know so many people in real life who take their art seriously, but Young Eun moves on as if it's no big deal. I can't take her seriously as a designer because of her lack of pride/ownership over her designs.
The writer doesn't care about plagiarism, clearly.
It is very unfortunate of me knowing LSY only from Kairos. I wish I had watched her long time ago. Such a great…
Since you're enjoying The Red Sleeve, and you want to watch more works by LSY, I highly recommend The Crowned Clown. Even though she had less to do in that drama, the plot is outstanding.
So why does byeong want to screw them over? It never made much sense, like what did they do just to be treated…
He's the type who loves playing with people. He wants people to put him on a pedestal and beg for his favour. So when Je Na and Cotton Candy decided not to play with him anymore, his pride was hurt. Like any arrogant ass who insults a girl who rejected him, Byeong wants to ruin them for the audacity of walking away from him. He's a Grade A bully.
This is one of those shows that doesn't have enough of a plot, so the director is padding the runtime with the same flashbacks over and over as well as ridiculously long stares.
Every episode ends with a strong pull towards the left. Geesh. It gets better, and then the last two minutes is…
Honestly, the way the King's mood shifts drastically from one moment to the next, makes me think that he's portrayed as someone who is mentally unstable. Which is why no one wants him to be King and why the Crown Prince is making a move for power.
I swear I'm not a Song Hye Kyo hater (a lot of Joong Ki fans took the divorce personally I guess) but her acting…
I honestly thought she had botox done with how stiff her facial muscles are. I've seen her in Descendants of the Sun and Encounter, and even though she played the cold female lead in Encounter, there were fine lines in her face and she was much more expressive. I really do think she has had some sort of procedure that has impeded her facial muscle movement. Her acting comes from the eyes and only the eyes so far.
I cried for a solid hour while watching episode 4.
I'm exhausted.
(And possibly in the minority here, but I get the vibe that Je Na won't end up with anyone by the end of the series, since the main love story here is between the girls and their dream).
Perhaps is because he didn’t kill Dali’s dad. His inaction or stopped Dali’s cousin from helping Dali’s…
He didn't commit involuntary manslaughter. There has to be clear evidence that TJ caused the heart attack but didn't intend him to die. Here, it's the opposite. He intended him to die. But there is no body and no autopsy so no clear cause of death. And they can't prove that he intended DL's father to die, because he can argue it was meant as a scare tactic. The prosecution would have to prove that he went there intending to kill DL's father, which they can't prove, because TJ didn't know he had a heart issue.
There was a line of causation, and in law, you get prosecuted if you cause that line or break it so that you were the one that caused the death. (Eg:- Five people stab someone, four gets assault, one gets a murder charge because he hit an artery that caused the victim's death.) If, however, like in TJ's case, you don't get involved in the line of causation, the intention matters. And there is no way the prosecution can prove it. This is like if someone saw someone about to be run over by a truck but did nothing. The cause of death is there, but the prosecution has to prove that person intended to get the victim run over by the truck. - This is a very weak case with no proof.
As for the green belt, 100% sure that TJ dropped it all on the Assemblyman because he never met with anyone or brokered deals, so there is no proof that he is involved besides witness testimony which means nothing without proof. Recordings etc.
1. Moo Hak and Da Li were strong characters that carried the show. 2. The humour was so good! 3. The consistency of the dramatic antics of the characters lasted the entire run, rather than dropping off mid-way like so many other shows. The same show we started with is the same show we ended with. 4. NO. STUPID. BREAKUP. 5. Characters who actually talk to each other to put pieces of the puzzle together. So far, I've only seen that in cop shows, so it was refreshing that they shared details about what they found rather than not talking at all. 6. The brother -like figure staying the brother-like figure with zero romance with the female lead. (Won Tak <3) 7. Did I mention No stupid breakup??? 8. Solid characterisation from beginning to end.
This drama has great writing, great acting and hilarious as well as painful situations. I'm sold.

Also me: I now ship Jen Na and Jae Hyuk because their chemistry is electric damnit.

More of this please!
