But then the communists decided that being gay was something western and it's been going downhill from there... I think novels might be banned soon if they become too popular, but it all depends on who's in power.
I can't give you hope, other than greed and a bit of bringing. These companies don't want all their investments to go down the drain. I'm hoping that eventually they will bribe enough officials to at least get a licence to air them outside of China.

And then there's the frightened side that likes to play it safe with the same firefighting drama every three months.
Indiana Jones was a mega hit, so were all the Sci-Fi movies that Hollywood has made. This drama is the same but in Mandarin, so I still don't get it. 🤷🏼♀️
