Sorry, I totally disagree with your assessment of Kim Taeri's acting. IMO she's the best and you can literally…
I didn't watch on Disney, and so the subtitles didn't include that. And come on, you couldn't help but notice as it was in EVERY scene where she had to show any emotion at all. Horrible performance.

Oh she's awful in this. Like an amateur actress. All she does is heavy breathe and scream. Horrible performance. Completely ruined the entire drama for me.
This is so bad, but made1,000 times worse by Kim Tae Ri's terrible performance. All she knows how to do is to heavy breathe and scream. One of worst performances I've seen in a Korean drama in a long time.
Throw in that the character she plays is an idiot, every character seems to be one of the stupidest people in Korea (because it's normal to stand around and just watch someone when they're about to commit suicide), and I just wanted to heave my laptop through a window I hated the last half of this so much.
Just made the mistake of downloading the last 5 episodes to watch on a 10 hour flight. Wanted to slit my wrists halfway through the flight as I despised everything about this
Will be actively avoiding anything Kim Tae Ri is in from now on. Can't stand one more second of her. :( Horrible.
Yeah, i'm trying to watch on 1.5 speed and a little jumps .-.But it's hard, i not interested anymore.... i slept…
Exactly. I thought she was great in the first couple of episodes, then realized as it continued that she's like a one-trick pony. Same reactions, same facial expressions, same heavy breathing and panting. Gets old really fast.
I thought she was brilliant in Mr. Sunshine (I haven't seen The Handmaiden yet) but, like you said, very underwhelming in this -- if not incredibly annoying. And no, I don't think it's the writing, as the writing is quite good -- it's her take on the writing which is just silly, IMO.
Gotta bear with the first 3 eps they were slow and boring af. Some plot holes here and there but otherwise it…
I'm the opposite. Loved the first 3 episodes, finding the rest boring and hard to watch. On Ep 7, still five more to go, but now watchin on double speed just to get it finished :)

I'm still watching on 2x speed -- just finished Ep 7, and downloaded the other five to watch on a plane tomorrow. Kim Tae Ri's acting gets worse though with each new episode -- overly dramatic, heavy breathing all the time and fluttering her eyelids -- hard to watch -- and the plot is just meh.
I'll finish it, but it's no higher than a 7 out of 10 for me, if that, and that's for the cinematography and the directing, which are both very well done, IMO :)
on epi 7 and it's getting boring, they are repeating the same things over and over like they found something new
I'm on Ep 5 and currently watching it at double speed. First three episodes were excellent, but now like you said it's just the same thing over and over again. Plus the FL is a bit of an idiot so... :) Really held high expectations for this one, but it's disappointing so far.
Especially when, the way the drama is going and the fact that the female character is a completely different person…
I also laughed at the Episode rating on MDL as, apparently, the fact that the childhood friend showed up in a car full of flowers caused a couple of fools to downrate Episode 4 so that it was at a 6.9 out of 10. Like they say, you can't fix stupid, but some days I sure as hell wouldn't mind slapping it :)
When you make a comment here, there is an option to hide spoilers. Please use it, it's just one bottom. Stop spoiling…
Especially when, the way the drama is going and the fact that the female character is a completely different person than the one in the Japanese version, it is highly likely the Korean version will have a markedly different ending. Yet we've got immature idiots rambling on and on about an ending from a completely different drama. Beyond annoying.
how dare this show is not on disney+ for meim deaf and loved sign language
It's difficult to find for most people -- I'm in Europe and it's completely unavailable legally here with English subs. Watch it on View Asian -- that's where I watch everything when it's impossible to find it legally -- (and then I watch it again when it arrives on a legal channel :) -- https://viewasian.co/drama/tell-me-you-love-me
