Anyone who finished this, is it good? I only watched first episode and it seemed boring 🥱
Superb. One of the best K-dramas of the year so far, and with many sympathetic characters, which I loved. I found the first episode a little slow, but it really starts to move fast from episode 2 with superbly filmed action scenes as well. Binge-watched it in 2 days and will probably watch it again.
Anybody got any idea why they forgot to upload today's episode.
Chuseok holidays and ongoing coverage of the Asian Games is damaging ratings of several dramas. I'd guess tvN made the smart decision of not airing a drama that would just be decimated in the ratings if they did.
Every country puts out good and bad. No need to compare.
Same for me. K dramas and Japanese anime, and with the rare exception, that's all I watch. Sure, I write about both of them for a living, but even if I didn't they would still be my only choice as they are just far superior to most Hollywood properties, especially now Hollywood has gone "woker than woke".
I feel the same about her. This is such a big project, based on a famous novel, directed by the acclaimed director…
Oh sure, I agree with you technology is getting better, and translations will get better with it. But they're not there yet. No translation app can understand the nuances/slang/collouquial way of speaking of any language, so comments are often mistranslated.
I've tried several apps with the two second languages I speak (Thai and German) and they're pretty bad. Even in German, which is a more commonly used language than Thai, every app I have tried completely misses up to half of the conversation. It's why I would never use a translation app when traveling overseas, as you could seriously upset someone if it mistranslated :)
Of course, AI will improve. But I also disagree that it is an AI world, as people are already beginning to fight back against AI and computers providing everything you see. Bing launched their AI to massive fanfare and their search traffic has actually gone down since, because AI answering questions (often incorrectly) is not what most people want. They want information provided to them by other people. And especially when AI is stealing their answers from other sources, namely from writers like me, and not paying us for our work.

Actually, no I'm not. But I'd say you are with your claim to have translated "all comments". Especially as you are obviously not a Korean speaker so not getting accurate translations (my friend is Korean but brought up in the U.S. so speaks both languages fluently).
I'm actually always amazed anyone thinks translating a language as complicated as Korean via an innacurate app helps them know what's going on. I speak Thai, and it's the same with Thai. Non-Thai speakers thinking they understand what Thai netizens are actually saying because they ran a Thai online conversation through an app or through Google Translate (horrible, btw). An app that mis-translated slang, nuances, and commentary and so does nothing but mislead.
So, no, you don't know what every Korean is saying about Jo Bo Ah, nor do you probably properly understand many of the comments you are translating.
They just announced released date so it will be picked up by someone soon
Hahahaha, yep, so confusing. Oh you could be correct. That makes more sense than it showing up on KBS2 first. Especially when every official poster released has U+Mobile TV listed. And thanks for the Monster Union info. I missed that.

It's a weird one, because I've just received two press releases from Korean sources (I'm an entertainment journalist covering K-dramas/K music among other things), that both state KBS2 is airing the drama -- something MDL is also reporting on, both on the drama's listing and in the story written about it by a Korean journalist -- https://kisskh.at/article/mr-queen-actress-chae-seo-eun-joins-nam-ji-hyun-and-choi-hyun-wook-in-high-cookie -- (guess she/he got the same press release I did?).
Other western news media is also reporting KBS2.
Guess we'll find out :), but like you said, the 20 eps alone usually mean it's a webdrama and not a KBS2 drama, so that makes more sense than KBS2 :)
Dropped. So far I completed / dropped all KCdramas. I've nothing to watch now
I dropped it after Ep 4 and same on most current K dramas. But I do recommend The Killing Day if you haven't started watching it yet. Excellent. And yep, I'm watching mainly older ones at the moment (Stranger is superb), as there is little airing right now I have any interest in either.

Yep! I have a Korean friend who lives in Seoul and she sometimes sends me translated posts from Korean forums about different actors/dramas as she knows I write about them.
She's translated a few for me about Destined with You (a drama I dropped as I hated Jo Bo Ah's performance in it, wanted to scream every time she hammed her way through a scene -- awful acting), and it was easy to see she's not well liked in S, Korea either.
She was the only bad thing about Tale of the Nine-Tailed, destroyed Destined with You (love Rowoon, couldn't watch it because of her), and now we're going to have to suffer through this. The drama sounds amazing, it will be hard to watch with her in the lead.
And honestly, she is the only Korean actor I cannot watch, but I have such a visceral reaction to her terrible acting, I want to punch the screen every time she appears :)
Kim jae wook is Main lead but You Guys watch romance only lee jae wook and Jo Bo-ah because They both Main couple
Kim Jae Wook is not the main lead, he's one of the leads. Unfortunately, Lee Jae Wook is the main lead. Not that I don't like him, but with Kim Jae Wook being secondary main lead, it likely means less screen time.
Disappointing. Will be watching it for Kim Jae Wook, but I can't stand Jo Bo Ah, she ruins every drama she's in. Wish they had cast a different FL as this will require a lot of fast-forwarding through to be able to stomach 12 episodes of her. She just can't act.
