My expectations are pretty high. The story is strong, the plot is good, director is also good and drama sets a very high bar for style/aesthetics . And it has Lusi!!!

But you dont have to choose... I think is only Youku fault, trying to make some money with a vertical drama, with less money, while they ride the certain popularity of HL. The real problem is they were greedy and cheap. They should invest some money and make a new season for HL or for TFF or let them the way they are with 1 season.
It's another sh*t Youku did, all the scandal around this mini drama, how they hadnt author approval for it is awful.

the first drama I rated bad. Couldnt stand more than 5 eps.
Even the idea of a copy of HL makes me sick, but curiosity made me lose the time to try it. You may watch it to realize once more how good Hidden Love is.

On X it generated viral post with over 25 k likes and 1 million views, drama trended in several countries yesterday. On FB drama /Lusi char have viral posts with 50 k likes and million views (well, Lusi has on FB big fan accs, with over 450 k followers). On tiktok, trailer got over 150k likes and hit impressive numbers of views

How CTW looks is a matter of taste. He is manly and hot, when they are in the same room, looking into each other eyes, the tension is so high that you feel the room became suddenly full, it's packed and cant breath. Very very impactful
