More, Lyn plays in another big female centric drama now, with LYT, he is the second billing. In Prisoner of beauty he also second billing, in LSS's drama (female centric drama), also second billing, in Legend of Anle (female centric drama) he is the 3rd billing. In The Story of Pearl Girl with ZLS (female centric drama) he is second billing. It's not like this one is different and he was tricked, it's what he plays usually, he knew and willing to take all these roles.
He had lives where he explained why he took this drama. He never said/shows he wont support this drama. He sent flowers to Lusi, they interact at award events, only SOME fans plain stupid

there is no novel, it's an original script. CFans got a part of the script (dont ask me how, but fans in China other level). There are kiss scenes. Also, they had posts about that day of filming when they filmed flower scene, hairpin one and the kiss.
This drama filmed a lot indoors. Paparazzi, fans had no possibility to see what happened indoors. All the leaks we had were from those parts they filmed outside and they were a few.
Cfans worked hard for every leak. They had targets (made data for A Yin /TLI char heat popularity) and they received in return leaks:pics, cuts etc from a big fan (dragon boat)
I still dont understand the fuss about this matter. Romance is just a bonus in this drama, just like in LLtg (and what a big drama it was). The tension between leads, dialogues, plot, all give us more than a kiss...my opinion

there isnt a novel , drama isnt an adaptation, it's original script. There are 10 chapters (revealed in synopsis ) wrote as lines for the script. It's all we have, nobody knows how script writers developed or changed the story.

there are 3 men (a merchant, a prince, a poet) who have feelings for the heroine and express them differently. However, romance doesnt come first in this drama. Not to say FL and ML not in good terms from the beginning. Hate, betray, love....not boring at all. It's the story/journey of a slave (dive to pick pearls) who will become a wealthy business woman

they turned off camera on the 14th of March. We will be happy to get it this year, Q4

no more soft hearted FL who "healed" ML....I love that
