A badminton athlete got blurred vision on his national game and another person was put in jail the same time his…
Yes. The typical slow burn of two characters falling for one another. We see it all the time. The introduction of what appears to be an interesting plot, just for that to all fall into the background because the central plot is the romance. It's typically the same step up and cadence. Which is why I said I'll wait to see the second episode before I decide if I'm drop it or not. What is "d-worded"?
Gave this show a watch because I saw so many positive reviews. Mark is in this and I would have watched IMMEDIATELY had I known he was in this. Although, I need a main role for him. This wasn't bad. Seems like yet another fluffy bl. The production reminded me a lot of "My Ride". I'll give it another episode before I decide if I'll keep watching or not.
I wanted to give both episodes a full watch before I commented. I apologize in advance for the long post.
My observation is this show was meant to have the characters be a bit older, 22+, but they were aged down for their target audience. The themes introduced within the first two episodes seems kind of mature for college freshmen. I believe the characters were aged down because this appears to be another "The Jungle", but younger.
I see a lot of people are saying they're watching for Ohm and Phuwin. I've only seen Ohm in Double Savage, which I LOVED, so I understand it. Phuwin... I'm just happy he's getting to try new things. He's young and still honing his craft.
I'll be dropping it for my above reason. The subject matter presented so far isn't something I want portrayed by, what appears to be 18yo characters. "The Jungle" storyline worked because they were the appropriate age for their level of exploits.
And just a personal note, is anyone working harder than Film? She's in EVERYTHING! Go girl!
One of the most toxic things in BL are some BL fans. These PEOPLE are actors. They get to express themselves, through the art of film, however they so choose. They aren't "BL Actors". They are simply actors. If you're a fan of theirs, support them. If you don't enjoy the snow, or feel their acting isn't good, that's perfectly fine. But coming to a comment section to bash them because their new project isn't BL is childish, disrespectful, and does the actors a disservice.
PS: "Gay For Pay" has absolutely NOTHING to do with on-screen acting. I don't know where you all got that from, but let it go. Actors act. This is their job. Their career.
Ehhhh, the writing was superb. This was one of the only GMMTV shows that had an accurate depiction of the intricacies…
He cheated on his boyfriend within the first month of them dating, with his close friend, because he "thought" Mew lied about being a virgin. Then love-bombed him until forgiving him. There is nothing redeemable about him. Mew was stupid and deserves all the hurt he's going to get.
This series was really hard for me to watch, and not so happy with ending. But watched the whole series just because…
Ehhhh, the writing was superb. This was one of the only GMMTV shows that had an accurate depiction of the intricacies of adult friendships. I do agree, there was no growth in Ray or Top. Boston didn't need to "grow". He always knew exactly who he was and said it to everyone around him.
DISCLAIMER: This is my review of the story being told, not a reflection of the actors, director, or script. I loved this series.
Imagine, loving a show for 11 episodes and ending up, hating it on the final episode. Every single person, with the exception of the GL love, was an absolute villain to everyone around them. To treat Boston, like the only villain, was a complete in total disregard of the terribleness that everyone else has done this entire series. Nick knew exactly the type of person Boston was. Boston never lied to Nick about who he was. Nick kept walking back into Boston’s life just to get himself hurt. Ray was a terrible person to all of his friends the entire series. Mew was a stupid hypocrite.
