I sorry, that's exactly what that is. lol. You're upset that someone disliked. Would you say the same for a comment that said, "that was amazing! everyone should watch it." No, you wouldn't. They watched it. They didn't enjoy it. They "review" of it was that it felt like a long advertisement. Don't be triggered that ppl have different interests and opinions than you do. It's ok
Ya know what, from that I've been reading here, and on random Instagram posts, the people who dislike this show, a well written show for an adult audience that shows the realities of adult interactions, are probably the types to fawn over the portrayal of high school aged onscreen romances and have no qualms about massive age gaps.
A beautiful end to an amazing story of an emotional stunted guy with mommy issues. His emotionally manipulative, selfish, possessive boyfriend who lacks the understanding of boundaries. And a mother who never showed her son love or appreciation. And for that reason, her son doesn't know what a healthy relationship looks like.
This is my second time seeing Joong in a show and first time seeing Dunk. I don't want them in anymore main roles until they undergo some serious acting training. They seem capable. HOWEVER, a lot of people need to understand that, like western media for example, actors are cast for superficial reasons. These guys are just attractive.
This was a simple show. The writing was terrible. It should have ended 6 episodes ago. The themes they touched on could have been better, but the writing ruined it. The only good thing about this entire show was Pok. That man can ACT! Oh, and Joke's grandma. I loved her.
‘The character reveal at the VERY END should have been the person the played Nanon’ - what do you mean by…
I didn't want to give a spoiler because I was providing a comment right after the show was over. Phuwin should have been the actor selected to play the roles assigned to Nanon. Every actor works hard, but that doesn't excuse them from viewer critiques. I do not think Nanon is a good actor and his two roles in this series were not good. I'm saying the role should have been played by a better actor. You can love the individual all you want, but that doesn't excuse them from feedback. I've mentioned him several times before because his bad acting, to me, stands out, so much so, that it affects how I feel about the series.
idk what to say about this series. I can't say it was bad, but it also wasn't good. At all. the promise and potential it had was lost so many convoluted episodes ago.
The entire series could have been the last six episodes. There wasn't a central plot. Nothing actually made any sense. They teetered the line of fantasy/supernatural so many times that I wondered where it was going. Also, Huntet's little storyline was garbage.
The best character was August. And again, this could have just been a miniseries of her and Pines story.
The character reveal at the VERY END should have been the person that played Nanon. Nanon did not fit his role, at all. He was cringey and just, not good. I hate to be so critical, but they had the opportunity to have a really amazing show, with all these great actors, and provided this filler series. Disappointed to say the least.
I said last week I'm only still watching because I was 6 episodes in before realizing just how terrible this is. But, my goodness. What a missed opportunity for a better show. Nothing about this series is redeemable. It could have been fully wrapped up 5 episodes ago.
Just discovered these two series and watched them both back and back.
First, EXCEPTIONAL cinematography! You could literally see the directors vision. Every shot was intentional and purposeful and worked in tandem with the acting to deliver a visual masterpiece. The acting was superb! The way the two leads fed off each other's energy was amazing. The way they conveyed emotion was masterful. I've never seen these two main characters before, but my goodness, they are amazing actors!
Now, for the story... Oh doesn't love himself. Nothing about the story was heartwarming, cute, or enviable. Oh needs to learn love himself and Teh... Teh simply has no redeemable qualities. I hate to undermine the brilliance of the director by saying this, but Teh was just a bad person. The writing and directing gave us so much depth. We see why he thinks and acts the way he does. We saw his internal struggles. We get to see Teh bare and rugged. It was beautiful to behold. And with all of that, he's still a terrible individual.
With all that being said, these two series are officially at the top of my list of best BLs for acting and cinematography. Hands down, untouchable. There was nothing bad about how they story was told onscreen. 10/10.
This show should have ended like, two or three episodes ago. They are manufacturing conflict, where there shouldn't be, just to keep this going. It isn't natural or organic. However, I couldn't drop it because I was so far in. This just isn't good.
I will say, this week's episode showed us who the best actor of this show is, Pok (Boom). I felt every single emotion. Every irritation. All the sadness. He's the star of the long, boring, unnecessarily drawn out series.
Also to note, Zo is upset that Joke did EXACTLY what he was going to do for Nita. smh.
What I loved most about this episode is that it showed how innocent Nick is NOT. Nick is actually crazy. Obsessive crazy. And I think that's the point of BostonNick pairing. Boston is selfish crazy. Manufacturing drama to benefit him, crazy. Nick is, "I'm secretly watching you just to catch you in a lie", crazy. I love the character development and the writing. Top is just a bad person. Mew... Mew still annoys me. lol
Why are you sad ? You were expecting to be like KinnPorsche full of Porny(ish) scenes) ?I guess you’re also…
The only thing I agree with is the toxicity of the BL shipping culture. But other than that, I don't think it was unreasonable to expect romance from MileApo. Especially since they seemed to capitalize off their fandom to promote the movie.
Being an American, I understand that Thai culture is much more conservative, and that's why KinnPorsche was so such big news because it was pushing boundaries. Because the movie was to appeal to a wider audience, I knew not to expect any types of KP scenes.
You have to remember, if KinnPorsche was anyone's first exposure of Thai BL and shipping, it would make sense they'd expect some level of romance between, what appears to be the two main characters. That doesn't mean we can't, and don't, love them both equally, and individually.
