Everyone is going berserk because Na In Woo is not going to the Army but the same people are ok when Ahn Hyo Seop and Choi Woo Shik are not going because they are listed “Canadian”. Despite the fact that they lived and worked in Korea most part of their lives and obviously have Korean passports because they were born in Korea. How In Woo is different from them except that he lived less in Canada than those 2? What’s with double standards?
This is what happens when writers write scenarios for specific actors. When the dramas are specifically created for those stars which are deemed “bankable” . Those scenarios are influenced by the actors-stars, by their “vision” of what they want to play, by what they deem interesting or by what they think should win them awards and make money. LMH was attached to this project even before it was written. Instead of just writing the good script and then do the casting. For now, I find the plot ridiculous. The space here exists as a gadget. To sort of distinguish this drama from others. But there is very little here about the space. You can do heart massage on a mouse or watch flies mating anywhere. Can’t imagine how much did this drama cost to make - just to watch flies mate or eat ice cream while “flying” in that sort of “gravity” .
I am afraid this is going to be a flop. This is what happens when you write scenario tailored for a specific actor instead of writing a good story and then do casting.
simple they are there for experiments that can only b carried out in space so rats and fruitflies are used for…
I know your type - to whoever didn’t like this you’ll say: “but no, it is so good, you just did’n pay attention to how good it is” 😂. Don’t make me laugh. When it is cringe - it is cringe, when it is ridiculous - it is ridiculous.
2nd episode: half of the time the flies having sex, another half - performing heart surgery on the mouse. Ah, and eating ice cream. What did I just watch? And why put them in space, what is the value added? All this can be done anywhere. I don’t know how to motivate myself to continue watching this….
Ugh what a disappointment this show already is. Glorifying cheating already with both leads already having a partner.I…
Kazhkas…what? It is Kazakhstan, it is a country in Central Asia. In which cave you have been growing up? This drama is not for you, go home and watch 1980-ties telenovelas, they don’t cheat in there. Or anything with age rating 10+.
For info: The impeachment motion submitted by South Korea's opposition parties criticized Yoon for:
"viewing North Korea, China, and Russia as enemies, inciting on bizarre Japan-centered foreign policy, and appointing pro-Japan individuals to key positions.".
Wow, they should have given him a medal, not an impeachment !!!!
Director Bong wants to look good taking high moral grounds and being “for all the good and against all the bad” )). Yeah let’s brings leftists and communists to power, it works so well for people and democracy in those countries where they dominate. Under such regimes Mr Bong wouldn’t be able to make movies like Parasite and parade in Cannes and eat in French restaurants. What a hypocrite.
its a korean remake of the chinese drama go ahead.... they just follow the storyline
Yes and this is where it is unbalanced. They gave more time to adults relationships with each other than to relations between Ju Won and San Ha. How much time they spent on the story between Hae Jun’s dad and his biological mum and his biological dad? They made adults story more important than the story of their kids.

I know, but that guy in Chinese original was somehow more credible in his feelings. He was obviously struggling whereas I did not feel the same this time - I had an impression it was almost too easy for San Ha to pass from brother to a BF status.
Family by choice - I am not surprised it dropped in ratings. I stopped watching it after episode 12. I didn’t like how they handled the relationship between San Ha and Ju won. In the series San Ha was almost taking for granted that Ju won becomes his GF. That is not realistic. After 10 years of never showing up Ju Won accepted him as her BF in a matter of hours? Really? Have you tried to talk to people whom you have not seen for 10 years? I am sorry but you don’t even remember their faces sometimes. Also, I didn’t like the acting of Hwang In Yoop. Where is the longing , shyness, suffering after 10 years of ansence? It is like he was convinced she would become his as soon as he asked her. And she did in this adaptation and it was bizarre . I didn’t like it and I stopped after episode 12. I am not watching any dramas where a girl is supposed to feel blessed because some guy asked her out. No, he should feel happy, he does not really deserve her. He left for Soul which is 2:15 hours on KTX to Busan and did not visit for 10 years??? What the hell? At least beg for forgiveness for more than 5 minutes.
Kissing is part of the plot. Better not to have kisses at all than have one badly executed. Also, I find KBL kisses okay whereas Jdramas are total disaster. They just don’t teach them how to do and to film a cinematographic kiss. There are acting skills required, but also the right camera angle.
The original French movie is Les Emotifs Anonymes, it is both charming and hilarious. I hope they at least try to come close to it. It would be interesting to see HHJ in a comedic role.
So the movie just took one part of the novel, the one about friendship, thus avoiding all hate but benefiting from all the buzz because it is still about a gay person. And it even made to Toronto Film Festival where Kim Go Eun could give plenty of interviews and show her new haircut. At the same time the drama got all the hate because they were brave enough to show ML relationship with another guy. In Korea, whatever risqué content there is - adult content, LGBT, violence, swearing - it is much easier and preferable to show it in a movie theatre rather than on TV where broadcasting rules are much harsher and controlled. And yet, the film production decided to go the easier path making quite a commercial story about the friendship with the emphasis on female character into a movie and not showing it on TV. They had a chance to make it into a much more impactful movie, instead they shifted focus to a less controversial side of story, avoiding showing gay character relationships. They got all recognition without taking a slightest risk. Got Toronto Film Festival instead of criticism. Wow, the one who decided to make a movie is a marketing genius )). Still, this is a missed opportunity to make a real difference.
Just reading what that director guy said it looks like he was on a mission. You want to pass on a message - do it, but he almost admitted what he did was a propaganda. I have no interest in watching a propaganda. He is stupid, that will surely have consequences.
