Good catch, going to the Navy for obligatory military service really fits. And also it was Bo Geol who regularly…
Maybe he also went to the Navy to be able to search for her? They probably never found her body in the sea (but maybe they found her dad’s body) so he probably always had hope.
Since everyone is talking about who is KH. There's one clue I don't see everyone mentioning. In ep 1 when they're…
Also - the young Ki Ho was into cameras and filming, he made the first music video of Mok Ha. And Bo Geol is working as a director or producer, he went into the same industry.
Hmm. I just assumed the mellowness/tears was a result of the sleeping pills.
At this point I wish that somebody just make a remake - take that novel and produce the whole thing again. Maybe Koreans - they know how to write good stories. Also - it will be great for us to have two dramas )

The idea of sleeping pills comes from the fact that Jherui was missing Zong Yi so much that he wanted to see him in his dreams. He was drugging himself every night in order to “meet” Zong Yi.. That’s why his first words were “let me sleep”, he thought it was his brother waking him up. But you wouldn’t know it if you didn’t read the novel, and the scene apparently was not explicit enough for others to understand.
These two were not just separated for 4 years because of some random business-related matter, as if they were…
You are right, they skipped lots. Even though the novel is very short (there isn’t much in it to be honest and the second couple did not even exist in it, it was added by the script writers) , there is still some context on how for example Jherui wakes up from the injury and decides to pretend that he has amnesia.
I totally share your frustration. For example, when they met at the elevator I expected to see more pain in the eyes of Jherui even if he was pretending that he didn’t recognise Zong Yi. The good actors can do it. And I was like: “No, you didn’t see him for 4 years, you are supposed to be in love, where is your pain, show me your pain so I could believe you”!!! But every time there is somebody who is trying to explain to you what you are supposed to see )). Even though the cast is nice and all - it is still a low budget production, with the limits of how it is written and directed. It is not The Young Royals. The principle of good directing is Show, not Tell. It means that we should see the emotions, the pain, the passion. So people who are trying to explain to you the scene during which nothing is felt how it should feel , they are just making excuses for the poor result, because they are so die hard fans. It is cute, but it does not change the result.
I really hope they would have used the male version of their love theme song, which they had used so perfectly…
GMMTV - OMG, don’t get me started, it’s now all quantity over quality. These days if I can choose one out of twenty they make to watch, I consider myself lucky.
They gonna lose ratings because the drama is losing steam because if this schedule. Many viewers will switch to something else to watch on Wednesdays… It’s not fair on production and cast.
Not surprised by low viewership of My Lovely Boxer. Sports dramas are usually very tricky. People are usually not interested in sports (too bad by the way) and you need an excellent script to pull it off. So unless it is a level of “A Million Dollar Baby”, or “Moneyball” - it is going to be tough.
Unpopular opinion: when you see comments like “I can breath easy after the last sentence”, you want to say :“ Gosh.. get a life people, it’s just a drama….” ))
I didn’t read the novel, can you spoil what would happen if they followed it?
That is why I think they are introducing a new female character- that female bounty hunter - to create another love interest in his life before they reunite with Gil Chae. So yeah, it seems it is still goes parallel to the novel.
