Sort of the Chinese "Rugal":You won't take your eyes off it.Nothing makes sense.Plot holes and production absurdity…
Thanks for this comment. I like hearing about constructive criticism and what exact didn’t work for people with specific dramas. while looking for my next watch, this is really helpful instead of just the “I didn’t like it”

I agree about everything except for the acting and the handcuffs. What’s wrong with them? They are special handcuffs…
Yeah, you’re right. I guess that is the reason for the high rating. It’s just disappointing again and again. It’s really difficult to find high quality Thai BL, which is a shame bc the stories have so much potential.

About the handcuffs and collar, they are clearly made out of cheap materials. Being low budget is totally fine, there are a lot of productions that make due and end up with really good stuff. The key is budget management. If you don’t have the money to make it look believable, than choose a different way to tell the story.

And about the acting, yes some moments were acted well by War, but it was not consistent. I didn’t like the acting of the rest of the cast. And I am considering all the actors not just him, when rating.
I always say to each their own, and I admit that my taste is sometimes off, but I really can’t recommend this drama. I don’t know why I finished it, I wanted to drop it so many times, must’ve been out of curiosity. This was so bad. I don’t understand all these high ratings. I admit it started out entertaining, but it rapidly went downhill. After episode eight I started skipping forward. The ending did resolve my frustration with all the plot holes and illogical plot developments, but it didn’t change the fact that the execution of this drama was not good. The acting was bad (but thats almost always the case with thai BL), the fight scenes were uncoordinated and made no sense (who waits 10 sec or more for your opponent to get up), the plot was absolutely ridiculous, the budget was mismanaged in my opinion (you couldn’t even afford proper handcuffs?) and lastly the character development was minimal.
I don’t recommend this one to be honest. I know many people don’t mind but quality is important for me to enjoy a drama.

I know taste is subjective and I am not necessarily one to talk bc my taste is sometimes questionable as well, but how this has a rating of almost 8, I can’t understand. I really tried to like it. The story had potential and the “vibe” would have been something I would normally like BUT there were just too many things that bothered me.
- low budget, props and set design were clearly modern and it showed (heels, shoes with sippers, hair clips, dresses with high slits or cutouts)
-I get making it romantic, but those constant long, drawn out scenes were just too much
- even though this is a “mini drama” with only 20min per episode, the plot progression was very slow, I got bored
- too many plot holes/ illogical plot development imo
-bad script, the development of their feelings for each other wasn’t shown properly. that goodbye midway through was so over the top, up until that point they didn’t show much affection for each other and suddenly they are crying their eyes out, felt disconnected
- and finally that dancing scene. If the actress can’t actually dance in ballet shoes, don’t have such a scene in it or have a body double
I am sorry if this comes across as hate, but I had to express my frustration.

On episode five, and I feel that there is no difference between the characters and the rules they are playing in the drama they are shooting. they are basically playing themselves.

try if you can hold on till ep3/4 the pace picks up and the story gets into it's groove then
I definitely agree, once you get past episode 4 the pacing gets much better and the drama becomes awesome. The chemistry between the actors is insane and I didn’t stop laughing.

Should I watch this or Melody of Golden Age? Im done with FOF and almost done with LGIEF
I haven’t watched Melody of a Golden Age but I just finished this one and I can’t recommend it enough. It was so great! It’s basically the definition of women supporting women! The FL is so capable and thoughtful and the ML is also very supportive and protective when he needs to without being overbearing.

Title Taxi Driver
For some reason, I am really struggling with this one. I have seen it being praised for being action-packed and thrilling, but I find it somewhat slow and boring. I have seen better revenge dramas. I also cannot connect with the characters.
On Back from the Brink Nov 10, 2024
I am dropping it after five episodes. It is a little too silly for me and it looks like there will be a lot of filler episodes, which I really dislike. The special effects are also very bad and sometimes even ridiculous. I have heard this drama being praised, but the bad quality is not making it worth it for me.
On Battle of the Writers Nov 8, 2024
Was wondering why this required and “uncut version”, then I watched episode 9.

The story had potential, but execution was lacking. As almost all Thai dramas the acting was not good. The main couple is cute though and they have a very healthy relationship. Any issues are resolved almost immediately. There are a lot of long NC scenes, that are done in a pretty good way.

well, if you wanna watch this you must stop at 24. so that you'll have an open ending and if you can drag until…
Ok, thanks! I guess this goes into the “not interested” category. What a bummer, I had my hopes up bc I like the actress and the trailer looked really good

So, now that it’s done airing, here comes the question that decides whether I watch this. Happy or sad ending?

1. Jun's character does a 180, from bold to timid. And why? For no reason, just to keep the plot going? (He kisses…
I just finished this and even though there is some things I like about this drama, I agree with you. The characters are inconsistent in their personalities and Yuki leaving Jun alone at his apartment was really a dick move. That’s not how you treat someone you supposedly love. He could have marked a boundary with his coworker and prioritized Jun, but he didn’t. I also dislike when the intro has scenes that are never shown in the actual drama.
