It’s the price for selling drugs yes he was wronged but by selling drugs he reaped karma that in the end no…
Personally, I also think the ending’s basically the drama’s way of saying ā€œyou’ll never end up happy if you’re involved with drugs.ā€ So they didn’t give any happy ending to either Eun Soo or Lee Gyeong, and honestly, I kinda get it 😌

Y’all, it’s official that all of Kim Young Kwang’s villain characters never end up happy or less miserable. They’re literally all either betrayed or killed, or both 😭😭 WHY does this man suffer every time???
At first, I thought it was so ironic that Eun Soo lost the family she tried so hard to protect, while Lee Gyeong got a warm welcome back after all that drug mess. And then surprise!!! His own father was the one who made him end up in jail back then 😭😭😭

I’m enjoying this way more than I thought I would! I actually hesitated to start it at first bcs of the comments here. But it turns out this is exactly the kind of rom-com I would enjoy, clichĆ© childhood trope, tragic past, marriage of convenience, bad family members, and ofc the useless annoying ex. It’s an easy watch with nothing too much or unbearable for me. Maybe it’s because I’ve been only watching Walking on Thin Ice (which is so freaking stressful) these past few weeks, so this just feels so much lighter šŸ˜…

If you haven't seen Blossom then you should. He is killing it in gray hairs in that drama. Super šŸ”„
Li Yunrui gray hair supremacy hahah

I did not watch Somebody except for the gym scene and sex scenesšŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ”„šŸ”„. I actually hear there are…
I actually couldn’t finish Somebody bcs it was just too scary 😭 my heart could only handle up to ep5 and some scenes were definitely too hot and real šŸ˜…
Honestly, as much as he’s slaying those villain roles, I still love him the most in rom coms. His miserable character in Call it Love was also really great.
Trigger is definitely boosting his popularity in a way, I actually first found out about him through Tiktok edits of him as Moon Baek and I can’t believe I didn’t know him all this time even though I’ve been watching kdramas for years😩 he’s no doubt a great actor!

I usually don’t mind those endings where the leads reunite in the modern era, even if it’s just a short scene. But here?? The one who met the FL again isn’t even Lin Yan 😭 It’s just some guy who looks like him!!
Meanwhile, the real Lin Yan was left behind, spending the rest of his life remembering the family, when not even a single person from that time still remembered them. And he even died alone pathetically. What was that ending supposed to be??? 😭
Like sure, the FL kinda gets to move on with the look-alike, but Lin Yan literally died still yearning for her. That’s just cruel.
Honestly, the only way I can accept all of this is by assuming that everything that happened in Yong An was just the FL’s dream. Otherwise, I’ll be forever bitter 🤔

Why can’t he defend himself, he’s always getting beat
I think he tried, but his opponents are just too strong for him. I get it though, it’s not like he’s supposed to be good at fighting. Still, what a waste of that big build 😩

The amount of times James got punched, hit with metal pipes and thrown to the ground in the last two episodes is insane. Give that man a break 😭

The men in the Shen family are honestly unbearable with their tiny brains and big mouths. Like, calm down already šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

I’m somehow so stressed and mad at everyone, like EVERY single person in the drama! Why are y’all like this😭??

I used to pray they wouldn’t get caught by that old cop bcs he seemed so capable, now I’m out here praying they don’t get killed by him šŸ’€ HOW did we get here???
Just when I thought things couldn’t get any messier, everything keeps spiraling, more and more people are getting involved with the drugs and I honestly can’t see this ending without someone getting sacrificed.

I can't believe it. I was sure it was the young detective.
Me too!! Like, even if it’s not the young detective, I never had even the slightest doubt about that old detective, he totally fooled me.

the way I was screaming at the ending of ep7 bcs WHAT was that???!!!!!!
I was all ready to see the face I expected, and then THAT OTHER freaking face just popped up out of nowhere?! I’m actually losing my mind šŸ˜šŸ’€
I never thought I’d actually get this invested in this drama, and now there’s no way back bcs I need to know everything till the end or I won’t sleep in peace ever again.
On Kim Young Kwang Oct 8, 2025
The bad or morally ambiguous roles he’s chosen are actually pretty interesting. Tell me why I’m out here rooting for all the bad guys (except the one in Somebody, I really can’t defend that pervert psychopath). He really has a knack for playing complex and twisted characters.

True, James is definitely not a villain here. There’s no real villain in this drama, just people making bad…
Well, that’s right. He is pretty villainous, but I wouldn’t call him a real villain. He’s bad but not the emotional heart of the conflict. A real villain isn’t just bad, they’re the one who makes the story hurt to watch.

What I appreciate in this drama is how it doesn't try to normalise drugs or glorify them but at the same time,…
True, James is definitely not a villain here. There’s no real villain in this drama, just people making bad choices that spiral into worse outcomes. In the end, they’re all victims of their own choices.

that ending of ep 5 really caught me off guard, makes me wonder what’s gonna happen in the upcoming episodes bcs we’re only this far in and the leads’ lives are already on the line. Forget the business plan, they need a survival plan now.

That's what this drama is for - to make us root for drugs. REsist the temptation. FL and James are creating bad…
I’m definitely not supporting drugs and I know no reason can justify their crime of selling them. I just hope they can get out of this mess safely and alive, even if it means ending up behind bars.

Title My Holo Love
The story kinda makes sense but also doesn’t at the same time, especially with the whole AI and hologram thing. Like, I get that the glasses are super advanced, but not being able to tell the difference between a hologram and a real human felt a bit hard to buy at first though I just ignored it later on. I mean, a human has body heat and warmth, and you can definitely feel or sense that when you’re close.
Anyway, I do love the main concept of this drama, even if it’s filled with classic tropes and clichĆ©s.
