Couldn't agree more about the smile😭😭😭

This might just be me, but I feel like I would’ve enjoyed it more if I binge-watched everything instead of waiting for one or two episodes every week. That being said, I’m still enjoying it, but I’m honestly kinda frustrated with the second half of the drama because the lies just keep dragging on. Anyway, I’m just hoping that both Haran and Chan can finally heal from their past and be at peace for once😭

Sui Yuanqing is probably the character who got slapped the most in history 😭

Ep9 is so frustrating 😭 everyone who’s clearly not okay keeps saying they’re fine and the lies just keep piling up until everything becomes a mess.

There are genuinely no words for how much I love Fan Changyu, she completely owns my heart. Even Xie Zheng’s face card can’t compete with how much I like her lol.

I tried to just turn a blind eye and ignore the fact that the FL is supposed to be a general who commands a large, highly respected army. But the more I watch, the more unconvincing it feels. It’s not about her size or appearance, instead her overall demeanor simply lacks the authority or fierceness you’d expect from someone leading troops into wars. Even during fight scenes, it just doesn’t quite land for me, unfortunately. Even so, the story is still fairly enjoyable for me.

oh my god Xiahou Bo, you’re so annoying that I can’t bring myself to pity you, even with that sad childhood backstory.

When I started this, it didn’t even cross my mind that I’d shed a single tear because I thought it was just a light-hearted, laugh-out-loud drama, but the recent episodes really broke my heart that I even cried over a side character with barely 15 minutes of screen time 😭😭😭
This drama is basically trauma disguised as comedy lol

the actor for Lee Yun (the drunk driver/Geumsu group heir) is so good

KHY looks gorgeous as always, but Lomon looks extra fine in this drama cause I definitely didn’t see him that way in his last three dramas that I've watched.

This drama is the kind that grows on you the more you watch it. At first, I thought there was nothing special about the leads or their stories, but after watching quite a few episodes, their characters somehow grew on me.
The ML isn’t the typical nonchalant, unreasonable man instead, he’s calm, observant, and even funny at times. The FL isn’t a brainless, fragile woman either, she’s smart, strong, and literally a ball of sunshine.
I can’t pinpoint exactly why, but I’m genuinely enjoying it so far!

Wang Hedi totally peaked here, like Dongfang Qing Cang is THE most iconic character of his career for me.

It’s crazy to think that most of the characters are emotionally and psychologically abused or wounded, like it really got me thinking about why they ended up like this and who should truly be blamed.
Anyway, such a good drama!!

Saw the teaser on X and was genuinely shocked to find out here that the ML is Chae Jong Hyeop, bcs I didn’t recognize him at all eventho I literally binge-watched his dramas before 😭 like bro, I had to go back and check again just to make sure that was really him in the teaser.
Anyway, I’m definitely tuning in and seated for this drama!

I do understand why you felt that way, tho. I’m actually not an avid fan of any particular actress or actor and I enjoy dramas from many people, including YSX and ofc SWL. You can probably tell that from my watch history on my profile. But I don’t think commenting on or criticizing an actor’s acting automatically counts as hate or trolling, ofc as long as it’s done to a reasonable extent and with appropriate wording.

I’m glad it’s doing well too. I was just expressing my opinion in response to the author’s question above. There’s literally no hate at all, and trust me, I’ve always liked SWL regardless of his acting.
