I think he looks a little tense and stiff here compared to his other dramas I’ve watched this year. I’ve seen…
I was literally just commenting on SWL’s acting, and it wasn’t even hate. And even if I’m a fan of YSX, does that automatically make me a hater of other actresses?

Yeah, I know. I’m talking about his acting, not the drama itself. I’ve watched all of his dramas from this year except Everlasting Longing cause it’s just not it 😅
I want to watch but I have little faith in Song Wei Long’s acting. How is he in this? If response is encouraging…
I think he looks a little tense and stiff here compared to his other dramas I’ve watched this year. I’ve seen him do better than this, or maybe that’s just how his character is in this drama 🤷🏻♀️
I think ZJM really brings Nie Xiguang to life and embodies her almost exactly as she is in the novel, but I’m not sure how I feel about SWL as Lin Yusen yet, it hasn’t grown on me. Sometimes he looks too tense, but I think I’ll give him more time since their sweet couple era is coming😌
I really don’t get why some people feel the need to praise Shine On Me while dragging Speed and Love at the same time especially when this is literally Shine On Me’s comment section. Like, do you seriously need the whole world to know how much you hate Speed and Love at every opportunity, every minute you spend on MDL? Why not just focus on discussing Shine On Me here??? There’s already plenty to talk about starting with that annoying SML lol.
Maybe it’s because I’ve read the novel, but I seriously can’t stand Zhuang Xu, like every time he appears, my blood literally boils 😭 He’s just annoying to the core.
My absolute favorite drama out of everything I’ve watched this year!!
Yu Shuxin and He Yu both did SUCH a great job, but He Yu surprised me the most. I already knew Yu Shuxin would nail Jiang Mu and she really did but sorry to He Yu because at first I honestly thought he was just another pretty face with nothing much going on in terms of acting… and wow, I was so wrong 😭 Him as Jin Zhao is just incredible, his gestures, his eyes, his voice, EVERYTHING. I’m 100% tuning in for his next project!!
The momentum of the early episodes especially eps 1 & 2 is completely gone. I’m already tired of some of the characters now. Some parts are still funny, but I’m watching at 2x speed these days.
I didn’t expect a drama I started watching casually because I was bored to have me giggling and kicking my feet in the air, like yessss it hits all the spots 😭
He Yu’s acting has actually improved a lot bcs the last time I watched him in My Fated Boy, I was like… oh my goddd it’s just not it 😅 So I didn’t expect much from him and I’m actually surprised lol
As much as I try to understand the FL’s temper and why she’s acting like this, it gets low-key frustrating sometimes. Maybe it’s the way she grew up and it's her parents' fault, so now she can’t communicate to save her life and has zero emotional regulation. All she ever does is get worked up and mad especially at the ML, without clearly explaining why or what triggered her. I get that she’s terrified of being left again and all, but girl...... for God’s sake, calm down for once or maybe consider therapy lol. In her mind, she’s the one who’s been hurt the most, who went through hell, who carries guilt over the dead twin, who’s always being left, etc. And honestly, with all that piled up, she’s just exhausting to watch at some point. I really hope her character gets some solid development in the latter half of the drama or at least stop that childish jealousy whatsoever, although based on the preview, it’s not looking too promising.
Thought I was done with high school romance, that this kind of drama wouldn’t move me anymore... turns out I’m still NOT OVER IT and I still LOVE IT!!! Everything’s just so cute and silly, I’m having such a good time watching this.
This might not be an issue, but I just wanna say that whoever’s in charge of the styling or visuals seriously lacks creativity. Like, why would you decide that the only thing to tell the twins apart is just the freaking glasses?? They have almost the same style, same hair, and obviously the same build (since it’s the same actor). Idk, maybe give one of them a mole, a different hairstyle, or just something in the overall styling anything to make them actually look like two different people. Not to mention, the twins also have such similar personalities and demeanors that I honestly don’t even care who’s who at this point lol.
Watching the first episode feels like hanging out in a group of three people, then the other two start talking about stories only they know, leaving you there just listening, unable to interrupt or ask anything. Still, you try your best to follow the conversation. Yeah, the storytelling in the first two episodes kind of feels like that instead of bringing you along to understand the story. That’s why some people are complaining, I guess. But it’s just the first two episodes, so I think it’ll get better later. Hang in there, guys!
I wonder what happened between them in the past that caused the FL to carry so much rage and possibly grief. I think she’s trying to move on, yet she’s somehow held back by those unresolved emotions.
