The Double is also on my watch list. But Viki Rakuten App suggest me Blossom, so I went with it. Maybe I have my trouble with it, because I prefer dramas with fantasy in it. Those political ones are often too complicated for me and I just don't get the hang to it.

I'm only at episode 12 by now, and contraire to all the positive comments here, I'm not getting warm with this drama.

The plot is quite alright, but it's kinda dragging along. And I realized I started to get bored by it. I'll give it a few more episodes and hope I'll get the hang to it, otherwise I fear I'll drop it.

All in all a good show! Only the last 5 episodes were a mess.
Why is it so hard to write a good end?
35 they did stick to their plot and all, and then it went down the gutter mostly....for no reason!

I hate to drop dramas. But when I skip more of the episodes than actual watch it....well....
I just couldn't get into it. It didn't catch me.
Did read some wonderful reviews. So I think the drama is not bad or anything.

For me it was: Hero collecting herbs, gets hurt and the beautiful Doc is healing him. And this repeats again and again.
She also gets sick sometimes and he helps her.
And between that, there is this weird bad dude and his agenda.

That's really sad. Both Leads had so good chemistry. ML.... loved it when he was so wicked. Don't know if it was his real voice or dubbed, but sounded fantastic.

Damn, the first 4 episodes started out so promising. Then it turned into….yeah an okay Cdrama. I really enjoyed it.
But what happened after episode 24?!?! Did they kick the writers and changed everything to a different story?? It wasn’t even good!
Honestly at episode 28 I stopped watching, because it was so weird and boring.
Really sad,y such a promising show took such a nosedive.

Started out great. I mean a Tawain production gives us what Chinese industry doesn't 😀
But I'm no fan of toxic relationships with red flag boyfriends.....

I‘m still watching, but I have to admit, it doesn’t catch me like for example A league of Nobleman or Mysterious Lotus casebook.
I just don’t get into the story, like I want to. It lacks on certain points. I could have needed more „bromance“ and a bit less confusing cases.
Also very often really nothing happens. There are dialogues that went on for several minutes without really adding anything.
At least that was my impression. Which does lead me to start skipping.
I will pull through, but it won’t probably come into my rewatch list.

Goosebumps….honestly.
Such a difficult and delicate topic and they just did everything right.
The ML delivered it to the point. They way they portrayed his journey until the end….the family, friends, the girlfriend…..the whole cast did amazing.
Shouldn’t you be triggered by the cancer topic…..watch it. It’s such a small well made gem.

Also it’s no long drama. No weird storylines, no side plots, no dragging lovestory, just a small glimpse into life.

Why I'm not even surprised about that kind of "logic". 🙄🥴😅
Chinese censorship is the weirdest thing ever!

Even though there are Asher Ma, Deng Wei and sweet Marius Cheng I dropped it.
And I never thought I would write that, but here I go: The FL was just too awfully.
I ignored it at first, because often they change and it’s just because they characterize a younger version and so on…..but after a few episodes I started to skip and I was like…..it isn’t worth it.

Thank you so much for taking time for me. That sounds so interesting. In the RL adaption, that was my main issue. They always said he is a bad person but, he never came across like one.
Maybe it was also the „fault“ of LYXˋs soft face and kind eyes 😅

Finally completed it. It just couldn’t keep my attention and I almost dropped it.
I like the actors, and design, but the story telling was for my liking a bit too much back and forth.
At certain points the FL was way more cunning then the ML and I only felt sorry for him.

I did read in the comments here, that in the novel it was different and the ML was really a bad person.
Maybe someone can tell me one moments or two how they changed scenes from novel to the TV show 😁
The show wasn’t bad, but I probably will never rewatch it.

I really enjoyed that show.
It started out very light and like a typical romance drama, just to take a turn and opening a whole different kind of story.
Wang You Shuo nailed the ML part perfectly.
And thank heavens they added the last extra episode 😭🥰

I don’t get why it has such a low rating 😕 it’s a solid and good show, with a beautiful story and a thrilling plot.

I for one believe that XZ is long past the point of having to prove itself in any way. With his projects, he has shown every single time, that he can fill any role in a perfect way.
I hope we're in the same page now that you finally believe me that I really didn't mean to trash him.
I really was just scared he gets again similar problems like in the past.
But I don't meant it, like he can't handle it.
It just would make me sad, if he again gets attacked for something he can't control.

I mentioned him with several other actors, who are all part of The grave robber chronicles! Nothing more.

And when XZ does that project he indeed do has something similar with all those actors, even an ugly CY, because they had parts in the same franchise 😜

Hi, thanks for the clarification. Yeah, I realized very fasty that there's something wrong. I didn't know anything about that. I'm not a "only that actor" fan. I like C-dramas and several different actors. And yes also Xiao Zhan and Cheng Yi.

That whole CY Desaster started after another member here thought I'm a CY fan, because she did read my first comment, like I don't want to play him that role.
Which is really not true. Maybe my wording was a bit unfortunate, but I tried to explain myself again and again.... but it's like talking to a wall.

I never wrote anything negative against Xiao Zhan! I never wrote he shouldn't get that part, or someone else should get it, or anything at that matter.
