My heart breaks more and more for Yunshen. He’s such a kindhearted person and only gets another slap to the face for that. And he swallows it all down…..damn kid…. His mother is awful. His so called brother….. He gets mistreated everywhere he turns.
Todays episode 23, when he tried to proposal…..I got so angry. Because again, he had to endure refusal. At least the FL is well written, and she realized it and felt guilty. I like their relationship and I really hope everything will be well with her grandma 🥺 Alone how Yushens mother treated her 😤
And then RuanRuan. That poor girl. I really hope she will break up with that idiot.
I first saw him in „The lost tomb“, but back then he was more like just another cute face. But then I saw the trailers for „The lotus casebook“….and come one we’re all bromance lovers, esp. with that cast. And he really got me then ( and damn I miss that show already). So I watched right after „Immortal Samsara“….and since then I’m really a fan. I love they way he acts and take on his roles. And we don’t need to discuss what a firecracker he is in fight scenes. I kinda get it, that producers/directors overlooked him. He has a very own persona and doesn’t have the fabulous glamorous looks they always want. But that is exactly why Cheng Yi is getting all the attention now. He is like his body, lol. You just see that kinda regular little dorky smirking harmless looking face, with cute eyes…..and you think: Well…..okay. Then he strips his shirt takes a sword and just starts ….and you get a freaking heart attack!!! And when he gets all beaten up and hurt and blood gurgling…….girls you know what I’m talking about 🫠😅
Also I really like, that he recognizes his fans. He looks at them, greets them and don’t just struts past them, like they’re the pest.
I hope he can keep up his status and will get good parts, because I’m so ready to watch them and praise this adorable kiwi boy! 💚🥝🥰
I really love Xiao Zhan, and I was so thrilled for that show.
And then it finally aired….and I was shocked that I didn’t like it. I have to say that right from the start I had my problems. And at first I thought: hang on!! Because some stories just need time.
But after 8 or 10 episodes I was more looking on my phone then the screen. The following is just my opinion. If you like the show, then do it and don’t get bothered about my opinion:)
But in comparison to Shows like Love between Fairy and Devil or Till the end of the moon, it really couldn’t compete. The plot was so slow passed and kinda boring. The costumes were kinda weird, same goes for the hairstyle. Also Zhan-ge‘s character wasn’t really a highlight. To me it felt, like he was just the goat for the FL?! But she was also…..it just didn’t click with her. The fight scenes were also……would’ve like a little bit more sword and less fingerbreaking magic….
I also couldn’t get emotional about their relationship. It felt like it missed something. So after 5 episodes I started the skipping…..and after a few more I just dropped it……sadly.
