Nah Ep 24–28 should’ve been released together or at least two per day. Now it feels like they’ve been stuck in this location for too long

As a woman watching romance, I don’t mind if the man is doing 95% of the work in a relationship in the drama but some dramas these days don’t even show the woman giving 5% back and I hate that.
I’m really touched by Changyu’s love for her husband and he genuinely deserves it. Everything she did in the military that could be seen as breaking rules came from her concern for Yan Zheng. It’s nice to see a romance that doesn’t feel one sided, where only one person is being cared for all the time. Balance is what actually feels dreamy

It just felt super icky. It’s not like I hate this trope.I’m literally watching a main drama with a yandere subplot but this one is a total no. Technically, she never even liked him. It was never her choice. Their chemistry was unflattering too

In the first scene between the leads, it didn’t happen physically. He said that while he was leaving.

I’m more surprised that some people find it interesting or don’t mind at all because if the princess royal had fallen for the male lead without doing any harm, some people would’ve surely commented “He doesn’t want you”😭
I find both situation irritating

Man or woman, I just can’t stand if they fall for a married lead character, even if they mean no harm.

Yeah like I get that she’s not educated but isn’t it common sense not to mess with the main hostage during a war

Ngl today it felt like she was trying to be too smart and ended up looking dumb. She won’t stop unless she sees that Yan Zheng gets punished on her behalf. I was hoping the truth would be revealed today. They’re dragging it out to keep his identity hidden but it’s starting to affect the female lead’s character

The group poster makes it look like a makjang, like the kind QOT was. I liked it too for the most part

I liked Xie Zheng’s scenes with the princess and their little friendship. It’s nice to see a drama where the princess isn’t chasing the male lead, instead just has a platonic bond with him

Really liked the whole tent sequence when the ost matched what was happening in the scene

Did he start coughing blood after hearing about the divorce agreement😭

I actually like both characters. The reason I even enjoy watching Qimin, is because of Den Kai’s acting.
Linghe isn’t upstaged either. He’s got an interesting role too and the story focused on the main leads for so many episodes, so you can’t be indifferent to his character.
I’m glad it’s not like MJTY. Even though that’s one of my favorite dramas, the main characters got overshadowed bad there.

Tbh I was here for the romance too but the full story really drew me in. It’s just made in such an engaging way

Seeing the comments, I just realized I didn’t even notice that there were no scenes of the main couple together for a few episodes. This drama is just so engrossing and giving every character a different layer still kept me hooked. I didn’t feel any fillers in between. Everything was needed for the story.
I was afraid I wouldn’t like the story after their rom com era but this has become so thrilling. I love how the story is deep without being overly complicated. Recently, while watching another show, I feel like I lost a few brain cells

QQ also seems conflicted. She was hoping the food was sent by Qimin and when she found out it wasn’t him, she looked a little disappointed. Then again, she couldn’t kill him. Probably because he had just saved her.
I mean it’s understandable. If a handsome young man is obsessed with you, it’s hard to be completely indifferent to that.

Qimin and QQ are seriously driving me crazy. In today’s first episode I was hating Qimin so bad but in the next episode I suddenly found myself wanting more of them together. Their chemistry is insane😭The way their scenes are shot is also really aesthetic. Like one part happens now and the rest comes later as flashbacks. Their whole dynamic just feels like pure tragedy

Ngl I’ve always found Cdrama airing schedules overwhelming. They release two or three episodes in one day and I usually fall behind finishing a drama. But for the first time, I’m counting the hours for the new episode to air. I already can’t wait for the next episodes. It’s really impressive how they’ve made every character so interesting!!

He was using a woman and, after getting what he needed, abused her. Whenever he sees Chanyu, he’s ready to assault. There isn’t even a sad flashback for him. I don’t think he’s likeable in any way.
