I started watching this because I saw that Lee Yi Kyung was a contestant and I was curious to see how he raps...only to find out he was the last (100th) rapper to perform and technically got selected by default. xD However, he really surprised me during his first battle. He was pretty darn good.
There were two things that really bothered me. The first was the guest singer mic selection process during the semifinals. The second was, if they were going to bring in a wildcard player, they should have brought him in earlier on in the competition, not during the finals. Also, it was kind of dumb to make the producers be the judges for some rounds after the teams have been decided. Of course they were going to vote for someone on their team!
The beginning challenges were almost identical to that of SMTM, except they didn't have the cypher round or the team diss battle (one of my faves). The show was pretty fun and entertaining up until they got to the semifinals...there was a lot of drama after that with the competition rules, but the performances were entertaining.
Sort of, but it gets resolved quickly. it's not a major agonizing love triangle. Basically, twin 2 likes twin 1's high school best friend (not knowing they were friends). Both the male lead and the high school best friend like twin 1.
the editing of ep 8 was not as good as i normally expect and see in this show, regardless of other things, in…
I think it also had to do with the last minute change of location. The crew wasn't really prepared for the change and kind of had to make due with what they had.
*sigh* All the old school twdramas. They were so addicting back in the day. My Lucky Star is one of my all time favorites...I've rewatched it so many times.
I wish I was less wary of historical dramas. Another one to add to the PTW list hah ^^Are you one to seek out…
I don't really watch historical dramas unless it has a great cast or good plot. Ja Myung Go was one of my first historical dramas, so I guess I have a greater appreciation for it. It does have a unique plot and good cast though. :3
I knew I didn't like Tucker, but I couldn't remember why...and then I saw the girl and her dog sitting next to each other and then I remembered THAT scene. OMG. I was like NOPE NOPE NOPE and had to see it happen all over again. Anyways, besides living through that horror again, this movie brought back a lot of good memories. Nothing is as good as the anime, but it was a decent live action.
I love both main actor and actress, but I'm not sure how I feel about them co-starring together in a romance. It will be interesting to see. I hope they are able to pull it off.
