I haven't started this show yet, can someone tell me if the YouTube version is different from the iQiyi version?…
According to the websites 'World of BL' and 'BLtai' the uncut version is only on iQIYI for VIP subscribers and will be come free on iQIYI the following Saturday. The Youtube & Gaga releases are the cut versions. For international fans, it will be available on YouTube: Mandee Channel (cut version because it is the TV Version) and iQIYI (Uncut Version).
It looks like Episode 2 is about 1 minute longer on iQIYI, 51 seconds longer for Episode 3, and 1 minute longer for Episode 4. So, there isn't a whole lot being cut but what is probably being cut on the YouTube version is the spicy scenes. I noticed some commentators have mentioned choppy editing during the spicy scenes. I wonder if they are watching the cut version and that's why it seems choppy? I am not sure, but either way if you want uncut watch it on iQIYI.
are there any other movies/dramas like this one and your name engraved herein? i'd love to watch something as…
If you're still looking for a heartbreaking movie/drama, I recommend the Japanese series "Eien no Kinou" (https://kisskh.at/737611-eien-no-kino) and the Japanese movie "The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese" (https://kisskh.at/33318-the-cornered-mouse-dreams-of-cheese). The first one is definitely one that you have to watch with a box of tissues near by and the second one is more dark and angsty.
Tar's performance is stellar!! He's got charisma and natural talent. He brilliantly portrays so many emotions and characteristics -- confidence, sensitivity, romantic soul, academic slacker, friend, brother, son, AND he even pulled off playing a female convincingly!! His emotionally distraught scenes with his Mom and when he is trying to win back Thi are really hard to pull off even if you're a veteran actor. I can't believe he is only 18! In my opinion, Tar and Santa, from My Only 12%, are some of the best young actors under the age of 20 right now. I hope to see more of them in the future (maybe even together in a future series).
Any recommandations? I want to watch a series that's well written and overall well done. Just something with decent…
Here are some recommendations from each of the 4 main Asian countries that produce BL series: Semantic Error (South Korea) Old Fashioned Cupcake (Japan) Triage (Thailand) History 2: Crossing the Line (Taiwan)
I'm usually the grumpy type of person but this series makes me happy. I had a smile on my face throughout episode 7. I also love how they show Noey and Thi dance at the end of each episode. I always look forward to the end credits because I know I will see them dance in a slightly different way than the previous episode. Plus, I love the song "Destiny" they dance to. Well, done!!
was the uncut episode this week 49 mins 57 secs ? it cut weirdly at points and i wanna know if i have the right…
Yes, it is 49:57 for the uncut episode. Unfortunately, this series has editing problems. The Editor is struggling with making seamless scene transitions.
Questions for the week:- Why do people keep jumping into pools with their clothes on? OK, maybe shorts and a t-shirt,…
I have watched parts of all 15 episodes. I usually fall asleep (except when Phayu and Rain are on screen), but I come back to this comment section because you, Nolan Peale, ImHereForTheBL, and others have kept me highly entertained with your comments. There's a comedy series in America called Mystery Science Theater 3000 where a sarcastic Earthling is exiled to a ramshackle spaceship and is forced to watch an endless supply of crappy movies. At its core, the show is about a person and his robot friends watching and making fun of bottom-of-the-barrel movies. You and your commentator cohorts are also fabulously sarcastic Earthlings watching crappy BLs and saving the disappointed and dispirited BL fans with a sense of humor. Thank you for your service!
Can anyone who has been watching the full uncut version on iqiyi just let me know what the full runtime length…
Here are the full run times on iqiyi: Episode 1: 45:11 Episode 2: 46:03 Episode 3: 45:58 Episode 4: 53:21 Episode 5: 57:32 Episode 6: 46:00 Episode 7: 49:55 Episode 8: 53:20

One more thing you could try. I believe you can watch uncut versions on Dailymotion. Maybe try these links for uncut episodes 4 and 5. If you search Dailymotion you should be able to also find episodes 1 thru 4.
I've been seeing a lot of people every week saying that the scenes are random and idk, personally, I don't find…
Nooo, it's not just you! I, also, don't find them random. I think every scene shows their developing relationship and how Phayu wants Rain to reach his greatest potential and be successful in school. He, also, wants to seduce Rain in falling in love with him. Each scene establishes this, thus not random.
I have been watching ep1-4 on iQiyi but today the show along with other Thai shows are gone in my account.. anyone…
It is my understanding that iQiyi cut Singapore viewers' access to BL dramas to comply with IMDA guidelines. IMDA is The Infocomm Media Development Authority which is a government organisation under the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information. I don't know if you live in Singapore. If not, IQiyi might also be cutting viewers from watching BL dramas from other countries or geographic regions that have similiar guidelines.
iQiyi confirmed that it had removed the entire catalogue of BL dramas for Singapore viewers. Shows such as "Until We Meet Again" and "KinnPorsche" are currently unavailable if viewed on the iQiyi platform. They also removed "Love in the Air". Like I said earlier, it might be doing this for other countries and geographic regions, too.
A spokesperson for iQiyi's international platform highlighted that this was done in compliance with the Infocomm Media Development Authority’s (IMDA) guidance towards LBGTQ-themed content.
What does IMDA's guidelines say? According to IMDA's guidelines, films that depict "alternative sexualities" such as homosexuality should be sensitive to community values. Films that center on alternative sexualities may be classified at the highest rating of R21, IMDA added. As for non-explicit depictions of sexual activity between persons of the same gender, these may be featured if rated a R21 rating. A film may be rated M18 if it features a discreet and non-gratuitous homosexual theme or content as a sub-plot.
In the case of a film that promotes homosexuality or contains excessive depictions of sexual activity between individuals of the same gender, these will be refused classification. In addition, service providers can offer R21 content only if they implement a reliable age verification mechanism. IMDA highlighted, "All R21 content must be locked by default, and should only be accessible to users for purchasing or viewing via R21 PIN. R21 content must not be offered for free.
There is no word yet from iQiyi if the content will be reinstated once they are pin-protected. iQiyi needs to set up a PIN system for viewers in Singapore and other countries and geographic regions that have such guidelines. I am surprised iQiyi didn't have one in place. I know Netflix and other streaming services have "Parental Control" PIN protection.
In the meantime, I suggest you watch through a VPN or an illegal site. I usually don't like to watch through illegal sites, but in this case it is justified. Here's the US link to Love in the Air. It can be watched through a USA VPN. https://www.iq.com/album/love-in-the-air-2022-29hviokmrd1?lang=en_us
IM IN LOVEE WITH THIS SHOW can someone pls recommend me something similar ( and pls not the 2gether series)
There are hundreds of BL series out there. Many of them are mediocre. But if I had to recommend something, I would give you a list of BLs that I think elevate the genre. They might not be 100% similar to Love in the Air, but I think they are really good BL series that you might want to give a try. I Told Sunset About You (Thailand) Not Me (Thailand) Semantic Error (South Korea)
Having difficulties locating a full and coherent version of Episode 2. I think it's 38 minutes in entirety. I…
Have you tried YouTube? That's where I watched both parts with English subtitles. I watched it on Rookie Thailand's official YouTube page. Just make sure you click on the CC on the video to get English subtitles. Here's the links: Part 1 (18:34 run time): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlb3ZuFhezA Part 2 (19:48 run time): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhTi_-Cefpc
Of recent BL series, I liked Not Me and Triage. Currently, 21 Days Theory just started airing. I enjoyed the first episode. It is a more light-hearted BL.
I hope this helps you find some good BL's to watch!
Well, damn that puts an official end to my delusion that they are a couple in real life. The National Blood Centre…
In Thailand, blood donors are required to answer 37 questions, Question Number 15 asks “For male, have you ever had sexual contact with male? If the individual says “yes” to question 15, then the individual is barred from donating blood in Thailand for the rest of their life. Of course, I am sure there are people who lie on the questionnaire. LGBTQ advocates in Thailand are trying to eliminate this question from the questionnaire and are trying to get the ban lifted so all members of the LGBTQ community can donate blood. I hope they succeed in their quest for equality in the donation process.

Well, damn that puts an official end to my delusion that they are a couple in real life. The National Blood Centre Thai Red Cross Society bans gay men and men who have had sexual relations with other men from donating blood.
I guess I needed something to confirm that they are not a real life couple to finally end my delusion. I really just wanted once to have a BL couple to become a real life couple. I know I am being silly, but I guess I am a hopeless romantic. However, I am glad that they seem to be the be really good friends and are very supportive of each other. I hope Mile and Apo inspire other people around the world to give blood. So many countries have a blood supply shortage, especially after the Covid pandemic when blood donations declined and created a serious shortage.
I really liked The Handmaiden. It's a lesbian, psychological thriller from South Korea.https://kisskh.at/11183-the-handmaidenEDIT:…
Did you know that The Handmaiden is actually a remake of a British version of the story called Fingersmith.? In 2005, it was on the BBC in England but I am sure you can stream it on Amazon Prime, YouTube or your local library might have it on DVD ( I am old-fashioned, I still watch things on DVD). Also, Tipping The Velvet is a mini-series from England that aired in 2002. Both are based on novels written by Sarah Waters who is well-known for her lesbian fiction.
