As an American, I have seen the Conservatives and the radical right call for censorship constantly. I work at a public library in a very Conservative county in a Midwestern state and the Conservatives here try to ban books/DVDs that have any sexual or LGBTQ+ content in them. Can you imagine what they would do if Utsukushii Kare was in print format and available at our library? They would be protesting outside our library and posting fliers.
A few years back, we actually had a Conservative group try to get us to remove all our DVD copies of Brokeback Mountain . Thank god our Library Director does not acquiesce to these homophobic demands.
I love Japanese series because they delve into the human psyche and how messy humans can be mentally and emotionally. It is not always pretty but it sure is interesting. If we start censoring things because we feel uncomfortable about the topic, we lose as a society.

If someone on Dailymotion does rip off the English subs from Gagaoolala, they will almost immediately get the Dailymotion video removed. Gagaoolala is very good at monitoring and catching anyone illegally downloading their stuff. That is probably why most of the pirate sites only have Google translated videos which are usually awful in their English subs.
You never know someone might sneak the Gagaoolala video through some pirate site and get away with it but I hope most people are going to seek out the legal sites like Gagaoolala.
You can sometimes get a free 7-day or 30-day free trial on these legal sites. Maybe you can see if Gagaoolala has something like that if you don't want to pay a monthly charge. Another option is just pay for a month or two and then cancel when the series is over.

Yep....you're correct. I now see that it shows 11 episodes. I was looking at the Viki app on my tablet. When you click on Bite Me, next to 2021 and PG-13 it shows "10 of 12 episodes available" But when you scroll further down and click on episodes it only shows 11. When I look at Viki from my laptop via the web site, it doesn't show 10 or 12 episodes at all. Just 11. I'm not sure why there is a difference between the app and the web site for Viki. Either way, it looks like only 11 episodes.

I checked the Viki site and it shows 12 episodes. So...I am not sure what is. MDL originally showed 12 episodes. Maybe the last two episodes are being combined into one episode.

Well, that is disheartening to hear. I decided to read MDL's Terms of Use and they say "they will not post or submit Contributions that promote racism, bigotry, sexism, religious intolerance or harm against any group or individual". By being against LGBTQ content, MDL is essentially violating their own Terms of Use. By excluding any LGBTQ articles, they are promoting bigotry. I want to have faith that MDL is not homophobic or anti-LGBTQ, but what I have read from you and RandomUsagi I don't know if I can believe that anymore. I like using this site because I enjoy reading the user comments and all their love for shows like Kieta Hatsukoi. Thank you to everyone who shows support for the LGBTQ community!

This scene was during the ending credits. It was around the 1:56:17 mark of the movie. It was a short scene.

MDL has just added a cast list for the Color Rush 2 page. Hyunjun is not listed as a member of the cast. There is a new main character. Hyuk will play a character named Se Hyun. Thankfully, Yoojun will be back as Yeonwoo along with all the other cast members from the first season.

I just noticed that MDL has added the cast to the Color Rush 2 page. It looks like everyone is back except Hyun Jun. I am disappointed but at least Yoojun will be back. That means the Mom mystery will hopefully be resolved. It will be interesting to see what they do with the storyline with the new character (Hyuk as Se Hyun). Do we know how many episodes the new season will be?

Yes, Leon is a fabulous character. Also, we have to give credit to the casting director and actors. Whoever saw the potential of Smart and James as Leon and Pob, should get a raise. I have never seen these two actors before and they are doing a great job with their characters. They are both so likeable!

Ohh, that sounds great. I love Hin in Lovely Writer! The hard-working assistant finally getting his chance to shine with his BL being published and maybe turned into a series. I would watch that, also.

But....as jpny01 and raf jokingly said in the comments below, it must be Mame's assistant who is writing for these two characters. How is it possible that Mame could have written the story line for two lovely and charming guys like Leon and Pob? So, if Mame's "anonymous assistant" would write the Leon and Pob series, maybe you won't withdraw your demand?? I know I would watch!

If Hyunjun won't be in Color Rush 2, does that mean Yoojun won't be in it either? Which would not make any sense at all, because during the ending credits of the Color Rush Movie version you see Yoojun's character talking to a mysterious person on the phone. This person says that his Mom and Hyunjun's character are keep him hidden to protect him. Then the mysterious person on the phone says, "do you want to meet Yoo Yi Ri (his Mom).
Are they completely dropping the story of what happened to the Mom and how Hyunjun's character is keeping Yoojun's character hidden? Or are they going to recast? Either way I am disappointed because I really like Hyunjun's and Yoojun's chemistry. A recast would be a bummer because I like these 2 actors. And I have to know what happened to the Mom, so I don't want a new story with new characters. I hope the producers of Season 2 reconsider what they are doing.

Have you watched episode 6 yet? There is a very nice scene where Valen and Kaitoon are lying on the beach as the tide is coming in and washing over them. I thought the dialogue between them was thoughtful and poignant. That scene showed character development for Valen and also perhaps why Kaitoon would be attracted to Valen.

As for Nont, unfortunately he falls into the category of nice guys finishing last. He really deserves someone who won't keep standing him up all the time. Kaitoon is either very absent minded or a crappy friend ( or both ) when it comes to Nont.

By the way, the actor who plays Nont was in Friend Forever. His character in that series had the same fate - dumped for the more sullen, brooding ML. Let's hope in the future he can land a role where he gets the guy in the end.

It is an awesome song! It is called "Strange Days" by the Japanese alternative rock band Panorama Panama Town. It has a retro teen movie sound to it. It sounds like it would be in a John Hughes' movie like "Some Kind of Wonderful" or a late 1990s teen movie like "10 Things I Hate About You."

While the majority of BL characters usually never say "I'm gay", I do want to make mention that there are a few exceptions to the rule. For example these characters said they were gay/attracted to men and the shows were still very popular: Tharn in TharnType; Oh-aew in I Told Sunset About You; Pete in Love by Chance.
As a female viewer, I wish more characters would say they are gay. I would also like to see a character say they are pansexual or bisexual. The character Pure in My Gear and Your Gown was openly bisexual and his storyline was the only good thing about that show. I like authentic and credible characters in my BLs. This makes a mediocre BL into a great BL.
I would like to tell Mind Trio and all the companies that are producing BL shows that this female will watch and support your shows even more if you have characters actually say they are gay. I want full representation and respect for all gay characters. I really hope there are more females out there that think like this and become more vocal about it. Otherwise, we will keep getting the same old tired trope of "I like you but I'm not gay".
