Apparently, Thai sitcoms tend to use laugh tracks. Because Rak Diao is considered a sitcom and not a drama, it has a laugh track. I was taken aback when I first heard it but the laugh track does get toned down in later episodes, especially during the emotional scenes.

In my opinion, there is more angst in the form of bullying and hate trolls on social media targeting the ML. If you are looking for cute, I recommend Rak Diao. It is a Thai BL sitcom. The MLs are super charming and have great comedic timing. Some people who have watched it don't like the laugh track, but honestly I hardly noticed it as I watched more episodes because the acting and chemistry of the cast outshines any silly sound effects.
If you want a break from the heavy stuff, I think Rak Diao will put a smile on your face.

I just want to confirm what bubbleworld said. I was watching this on a different site (I can't even remember which site) and I felt the same way you did about the disjointed scenes. Then I realized it was on YouTube and re-watched the scenes where Toh sees Nuea's naked torso and falls backwards in the chair and another scene where they are sitting on the bed discussing Nuea's sexual encounters with women and men. Those scenes on YouTube were longer and uncut than on the other sites.

How do you feel about dimples? The actor named Fluke Pongsakorn Wongpian who plays the character Mork has the greatest smile. I was mesmerized by his one dimple.
For a more serious and less shallow reason, there are some really sweet and kind characters that you wish the best for in their journey to happiness. The main characters' friends are funny and supportive , family members give sage advice and love, and the all around vibe is positive. However, it does have many typical BL tropes, but the characters are so damn nice you just root for them and that put me in a good mood when I was watching the series.

Mork and Tawan are two of the sweetest characters and you just want to hug them and wish them happiness. Mork's dimple gets honorable mention!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I understand why you hate the series but Rach loves Xieer is right. TharnType had a rape storyline. What is more malicious, cruel, and vicious than rape?? I can't stand this homophobic crap that is displayed by these production companies and distributors. They are hypocrites earning profits from LGBT content but at the same time condeming it.

I would say that in the beginning it is more of a one-sided love. But, towards the end I interpret the love being reciprocated. Yong Joo and Gi Woong are both lonely and there is a moment towards the end where I want to believe that they will find happiness together.

I live in the US. I agree that we elect dumb leaders but it hurts my heart to read all the harsh words towards Americans in the comment section plus all the "likes" these comments are getting.
I understand why the world dislikes Americans but to be called dumb makes me feel rejected. That's on me and I probably need to be less sensitive.
However, I can't be too dumb because I absolutely loved Utsukushii Kare!! Yes, being an American I viewed the gun scene as extremely upsetting because of what we suffer with in America. But, it was an important scene because it showed how Hira would go to any lengths to defend Kiyoi. It revealed the depths and extremes of his obsession/love.

I had the same problem when I used my Samsung tablet web browser. I switched to the Google Chrome browser on my tablet and it worked. Also, sometimes it doesn't work on my laptop when I use the Safari browser. But, if I refresh the page the episode is on it then works. I hope this helps you.
