Thank you to both you and @crib for talking about this. I feel like no one is thinking about the impact of coronavirus…
There was a number of threads below after ep9 where people (including me) speculated on how corvid-19 affected this on-going production. I think it is safe to assume that there was probably supposed to be a few non-Fighter/Tutor scenes spread through ep 9-10. At the very least, there was suppose to be a scene about the aftermath of the kiss.
I don't think most of the people commenting on how the episodes were put together was spreading hate, so much as concern about what ep 9 + 10 means for the production going forward. Like for me, I am concerned that these two episode could be a sign that they still have a lot of other pivotal scenes that didn't get filmed.
Because of covid they couldnt film more for them.. the director said on twitter we will have more SaiZon soon
Question is if it will be like today where it is packed with montage flashbacks where they reuse old scenes and scenes that seems to be from the cutting room floor
what is the episode with Zon holding keys? there are parts i don't even remember
My guess is also scenes from the cutting room floor that they are dusting off to fill in the gaps. Similar to that scene of Saifon walking and seeing Zon sleeping in the practice room
There been mention that the director has clarified that the aftermath of the kiss was not filmed because they…
If the plan was to leave themselves leeway to extend the season by a few episodes (which was rumored to be the plan before corvid-19), they were probably planning on filming as the show airs so they can adjust on the fly. Once you made arrangements for the "school" and "dorms", it isn't too hard to film extra scenes to fill lengthen the season.
Once corvid-19 hit and interfered with production, they had to deal with it as well as they can.
Okay, in all honesty, I love this series but wtf was ep 10??? Why did we need thirty minutes of montage? Like,…
While I hope I am wrong, there are rumors that production was cut short due to corvid-19, All the montage may be just them trying to piece together footage to fill in the gaps
So we had saifah zon in the episode and a trailer for episode 11 with both couples. I guess the rumors about the…
Glad I was wrong and there was at least one SaiZon scene. I hope the rumors are false and they actually finished filming already. I just want to expect the worst and hope to be pleasantly surprised. Best to keep expectation low.
Saifah and zone screen time was all a recap from previous episodes. Like seriously is that all u have offer director?…
There been mention that the director has clarified that the aftermath of the kiss was not filmed because they ran out of time. How much stock you put into that is up to you. If the rumors are true, this could be the best they could piece together based on what they filmed already
Plus they are already started the presale of the ebox with the entire serie plus specials, how can they do that…
I hope I'm wrong. However, there was definitely tweets from the director that the SaiZon kiss aftermath scene couldn't be filmed. Someone also pointed to the author's tweet that was reassuring people that there is still a queue of scenes with lots of SaiZon (due to the outrage from people from a full episode of just Fighter/Tutor). Hopefully, this is just a question of lack of time to film (which mean that queue will be cleared before the end) and not due to corvid-19. If it is due to corvid-19, this can last for a long time.
There been reports on the Why R U side that certain scenes could not be filmed because corvid-19 shut down production. This is because Why R U is still filming as the show is airing.
Does anyone if that is the case as well for 2gether? Is the entire show already finished filming or were they supposed to continue filming as the show airs? I am worried since we are a few episodes behind Why R U, which make a production shutdown a bigger issue if that is the case.

Securing the location for the beach and the beach resort probably require extra time and effort, so it was done early. Once they secure a location for the "school", they can film as much as they want, even if they want to add additional episodes, which was the original plan.
worst case scenario: we'll get a 2nd season, people... it's all going to be FINE! :)
That depends. Is there enough material left to stretch it out for a full season of 12 episodes? If so, that will be great, but otherwise, it would be hard to convince a studio to fund a full season that will be mainly fluff.
They could just restart production and finish up this current season. However, if corvid-19 last a long time (and it seems like it will), by the time that they can restart production again, it may involve re-hiring a production crew, rescheduling the actor's time, re-booking the filming locations, etc. The studio might not be willing to put that amount of money and effort for a final 2-3 episodes.
So the director apparently has now said that after episode 10, best case scenario is that there will be a really…
This has been something I feared since I heard that corvid-19 had affected the on-going filming. Considering they couldn't even film the aftermath of the SaiZon kiss, it been clear that at the point of the production shutdown, they still had many scenes for the ending that they still have yet to film. After all, the aftermath scene would obviously not be the final scene you film when you are filming everything as the show airs. I assume that they have a few scenes here and there filmed already for the final 2 episodes, but obviously, not enough to stitch together a coherent ending.
I fear I was correct that they decided to stretch the pre-filmed beach footage to two episodes as a stopgap measure hoping they will get permission to continue filming again before ep10 finished airing. Sadly, corvid-19 doesn't seem like it is going away any time soon, so the director is basically stuck. I originally suggested a possible solution is to use more animated scenes (ala the opening) to finish up the series, but assuming the news is correct, they are probably missing too many scenes for that method to work.
I'm seeing alot of "why aren't there many kiss scenes???" complaints here. I hate to point out the obvious but…
Phcy from Love of Siam didn't exactly fade into obscurity. He was the frontman of the band that started from Love of Siam, which was quite popular for a while. He also did a few other movies, but mostly faded away because he decided to actually go to University. I don't think he was ever quite as big after he graduated, but that isn't too surprising considering the long gap from the public.
Contrast with that, Mario seems to have focused solely on the acting department, appearing in shows after shows and movies after movies. Is it that surprising that he was able to attain stardom in comparison to Phcy?

Tier 1: Fighter/Tutor
Tier 2: Saifah/Zon
Tier 5: Everyone else
